Was deciding between this and a Zoom R24. This video made my decision easy. Picked up the R24 today.

Can't you just export the individual wave flies and then import them into tracks on your PC/DAW?

Can I play my existing minus one song with this recorder? and record my vocals while playing? or I have to do it manually in my computer? I mean I have to record the vocals and I'll match it with my minus one song to an audio software? Thanks.

My Boss 1180-CD gave up the ghost a few months ago.  I really liked the ease and features and would love to get a new workstation but with more features, channels, audio quality, etc.  Does Boss plan to add more to this line?  The BR-800 seems like a step back for me.

This is the worst product demo I ever watched! No wonder there are flaws like phantom power for only one channel if such fucked up guys are responsible for the design too...

I was wondering if any of you manage to USB connect the BR-800 on an iPad as an audio interface. I've tried on my iPad pro but the IOS keep giving me the message: "This USB device requires too much power". I've tried it with apple's CCK and also with a powered and unpowered usb hub. Any of you got any luckier than me?

Great sounds in theory this thing is awesome. I have now wasted hours of time and having connection issues. Drivers are downloaded Rhythm editor downloaded. Rhythm editor fails. will not connect. Just make something simple we can lay down tracks without all kinds of tech problems. Very disappointed and frustrated might as well just sell this thing. Do you have a product that works without all of these issues where I can just lay down my tracks?

I laugh when I see comments saying, that it should come with bigger SD card. I bought a Yamaha AW4416HDCD in 2000, for $3500. It came with a 12Gb Hard Drive. For the price, Boss is providing a lot of powerful tools that can be utilized in multiple recording applications.

Hey Boss, how about a new post 2023 updated BR thats 24 bit, built in CD player and plugs into an external monitor so you can run it with just the BR and the monitor.

Computer always have one problem or another so I don't like using them for recording.

One thing that is sure about the BR-800,.... if I spill my beer on it. great change it still works (same as my beloved Atari 400 console from 1979 !!!) as a one-man band with guitaar,keyboard an drinking cans of beers. tjhis is a plus ! Maybe, i buy it. maybe not. sorry. i a mdrunk.
