Longtime road pro Simon Pellaud of Switzerland is racing his first Life Time Grand Prix, where he currently sits sixth overall.

I caught up with him on Wednesday to talk about his bike and tire choices, and the infamous mud of Unbound Gravel, the second event in the six-race series.
