What you realize watching this is that Brisbane could have easily won by 100+. They conversed energy expertly, knowing that they had to go the long way to the premiership. Carlton scored 3 goals 2 in the final 3 minutes because Brisbane shut off and went into conservation mode.

I mean inaccuracy hit us in the second half. We were 9.5 and kicked 5.10. 5.9 of that in the second half. If we kicked accurate we would of at least won by 50+ points

Home and away records and minor finals achievements are completely meaningless to any supporter. The filth are the reining premiers and deservedly so. Can't wait for the day of another old Carlton Collingwood Grand final.

A battle with the giants and the lions is the hardest final to decide

Even though Carlton had a crap 1st half, the come back in the last quarter was a good come back

Credit has to be given to Voss and the players for giving some fight in the second half but the damage was already done and the game was already over. Brisbane too strong in contest and they were able to run and carry with 0 pressure nearly all game. Lost count of how many uncontested possessions I saw in each passage of play the lions made, quite embarrassing that the players didnt look like they wanted to work or they were too nervous to play properly. Carlton just snuck into the top 8 and got the result that most were expecting, back to the drawing board for Voss and hope they can bounce back next year with better performances than that. Hipwood is a liability most of the time I see him with the ball, I'd rather him pass off to someone with a handball or get the ball to someone else like Cameron who can nail a shot. Great win Lions good luck next week against GWS.

For being an observer and a fan of 2 sports, it almost took 2 quarters for Carlton to click in. But it wasn't enough to think that Brisbane have now beaten them in the finals. TWICE (in 2 years?)!
