Good to see Honda making sportier cars. Sad it's hybrid. Hybrid tech is tough on engines. Can't help but notice how similar the body lines are to the BRZ/GR86.
ОтветитьGreat vid. 💩 car
ОтветитьIt's gonna' be a dog....no thanks.
ОтветитьI think it will be much higher than 200HP. In this segment it would be underpowered if less than 250. I owned a 1999 Prelude and I believe it was 200 back then.
Ответить*sigh
Beautiful car, but nothing about that is a prelude. I love preludes; I will never own this one.
It’s a civic coupe XL
Ответитьi imagine all the ppl would have been pissed if they DIDNT offer a hybrid....
ОтветитьIn the back, I wish Honda was spelled in all capitals. This car is SO much better than lowercase! ❤
ОтветитьWhat's the point? You can't look inside? It's all speculation.....
ОтветитьPrius 🥱
ОтветитьThey ruined the concept … come on Honda, the old CRX, Prelude and S2000 … get back to your fun roots, as your older monied customers want some FUN!!!!
ОтветитьI wanna know why they didn't put a v6 in the Honda accord sport?
ОтветитьHopefully a hatchback … 🤞
ОтветитьIt’s great news, the 88-91 Prelude is my favorite, so sad they kill it off in the 90s. Honda is so good in Motorsport but their lack of road cars with such exciting technology kind of mess up the brand. With only NSX, S2000 and Civic carries over their performance identities simply ain’t enough. This Prelude concept looks great, hope their ICE powers the rear wheels with the front to be EV driven. Hope they also bring back the Si and Type R.
ОтветитьThe 1996 Honda prelude made me want to own a prelude when I was a junior in high school in 1996. This does not.
Ответитьdamn… it looks NOTHING like the original preludes :(
ОтветитьThe lady z Toyota 86 n brz want there coupe back
ОтветитьNobody can see a Prius in this Prelude? Can Honda copy from Toyota blatantly and not get sued.
ОтветитьMeh...
ОтветитьDon’t want any vehicle with a battery
ОтветитьWhat will the powertrain be? What about drivetrain? AWD? RWD? FWD??? hopefully Honda does something bananas like makes a V6 with a turbo or two; just to show and prove that Honda can ZOOM ZOOM to
ОтветитьHate the design
ОтветитьHonda is not in the business of selling 2-door sport coupes. They sell higher volume, practical vehicles like the civic and SUV's/crossovers because that is where the demand and money is at. Compact sport coupes are a very small part of the market. For those reasons, Honda will not produce a car like the prelude in high volumes like an accord. The average dealership will probably carry maybe 5 in stock if any and for that reason this car will be priced at a premium, with zero incentives. Add to that the certainty of a dealer mark-up because of "market demand" and this car will be at a sticker price of $40K or so. At that point, just get a Civic Type R.
Not to mention that a high price point will pretty much eliminate most of the customers that would actually be interested in this car, young males 18-30. Also, the fact that it will be a hybrid will also eliminate a good chunk of the target market because a hybrid has limitations for performance tuning, modifications, etc. which is what the target audience for this car (performance minded enthusiast) will want this car for. So they will likely turn to something like a TypeR or a Toyota 86 instead.
Good looking car but it will be over priced and probably only be in production for 3-4 years.
This is probably going to compete with the Toyota GR86 so a good 230-240 HP
Ответитьi like honda nsx😁
ОтветитьIt's game over for cars. There is nothing new that's cool and affordable anymore 😑 better buy up all the old cool stuff before it's all gone or you are priced out....
ОтветитьWow, they bought it back.
ОтветитьTalk too much!
ОтветитьLooked like 2018 civic coupe
Ответитьwhat a disappointment. what kinda weird butter face corolla front end design. not a prelude imo.
ОтветитьI wish boxy looking cars would come back.
ОтветитьHow to kill this car Front Wheel Drive ...
Ответитьwow this car really reminds me of my g35. think i know what my next car is gonna be.
ОтветитьNot hatchback,it is notchback.
ОтветитьNo manual
ОтветитьAwsome
ОтветитьI am so confused, 4 cylinder hybrid with 200 horsepower. That’s a joke . So it’s just another fake sports car. Definitely pass. My 2013 370z with 325 horsepower would embarrass this car
ОтветитьI have seen three versions of the prelude, this is my least favorite version of it. I thoroughly enjoyed my 1985 Honda Prelude SI. One of my favorite all time driver's cars. I would happily park this between my nsx's.
Ответитьlook like byd seal😂😂😂
Ответить$31k to start? You're dreaming buddy. I doubt they'll be cheap, no matter the configuration.
ОтветитьNo manual no buy
ОтветитьI hope Honda smart enough to make rwd or awd with engine option 4 cylinder or v6 twin turbo with at least 400hp other than that waste of time!
Ответить200 hp wont sit well.
ОтветитьWelcome back Prelude 🎉🎉🎉🎉
ОтветитьDommage que ce soit une Hybride, je ne veux rien savoir d'un VE donc, j'irai vers un autre modèle.
ОтветитьHonda said it won’t be that sporty. This looks like it’s from 2004 and has 200hp like its 2004
ОтветитьI had a 95 prelude 5-speed and I miss her. I just can’t have a 2-door car with my current life situation :(
ОтветитьWith how fast all cars now a days these “sports/performance” cars should be 350 hp to the wheel AT LEAST
ОтветитьIt shares the same engine with Accord and CRV 201 hp
ОтветитьJapan is not doing a 6 Speed Manual at all only Auto +Hybrid big mistake indeed many of us would prefer a 6 Speed on the Floor a huge let down.
