That navigation system is the ugliest thing I have ever seen. It looks like an afterthought. Why can't car companies seamlessly blend the navigation system under the dash..

There’s no denying the LX is great , but Lexus/ Toyota are still behind on tech , space , short wheel base compared to competitors. No tucked rear wiper , no self driving . And I can’t order what I want , I have to take what might come in that’s not spoken for . The new 25 Infiniti Qx80 is far superior in so many ways for the $

You forgot to mention the TT V6 problems and recalls. Rolexes certainly don’t have such problems.

The cargo space in the LX700h proves that the hybrid system is an afterthought. Another thing that really disappoints is the fact that Toyota is recalling 1000s of their vehicles to replace not one part but the entire V6 engine! Here is something many fail to realise: Toyota engines are very inefficient compared to the Germans. Take for example the 3 litre BMW X5 compared to the TX 550h+ or the TX500h+ which are both hybridised where the BMW is not. In fact the 4.4 litre BMW V8 is as efficient as the 3.4 litre Lexus V6! Lexus had to hybridise the engine to just get 1 mpg better! When you talk about the engine please mention it is the 3.4 litre V6 that is being recalled to replace it. It is not just the twin turbo V6 as you mention; it is the recalled twin turbo 3.4 litre V6.

Rolex is an entry to mid range watch brand mass produced on a production line. Rolex is akin to the Crown line. I would equate Lexus to JLC.

Nice an presence ❤but it letdown by old interior design. LX should have Hyperscreen and panoramic roof, split tailgate.

This SUV is not cheap at all but what an ugly interior. The car is $10K more than Infitniy QX80 but it outdated.

Too much sales speech! Lexus is only high at pricing now. Reliability is down(probably still decent, but you paid for it upfront), look is ugly, material is cheap, feature is lagging behind, the best of all, you can’t sale it to “normal “ person? I remember last time I went to a Rolex dealer, I was told the same thing, then I walked to VC and bought a watch. Hunger marketing me once, you are out for good!

Lexus really needs to step up the game. Their feature is too generic with this kinda price. Needs massage for 1st, 2nd rows and panoramic moonroof at least.

I have the Lx 500 D in Australia . Have never felt a car that passes the bumps and vibrations through the steering wheel like this car !
It feels like somebody banging a bag of marbles on the steering column.

Don’t believe this guy on the solid weight of the doors. I have owned a Range Rover autobiography plus several Mercedes, this car does not feel like a high end car.
I brought it for it reliability. However ho hum steering feeling . Very average fuel economy.
Plus low customer care I don’t think this car is on the luxury level you are paying for.

The company’s say hybrid drive does not hurt your ICE engine for the life of the car .
Their life of the car is 100 000 klms or there about!
I don’t know about your bank balance ! But I keep my cars 10 years plus!

So save on fuel but I hope you lease it and it’s a throw away car!
