ОтветитьI did that hike The Lost Coast from Matole trailhead to Shelter Cove 5 times. Loved it. You exit avenue of the Giants in the redwoods off 101and you pass a little town called Honeydew. Awesome freaking hike. Must be on everybody's bucket list. A MUST

ОтветитьDear nature grandpa, I haven’t been able to watch your videos for quite some time now because life has been so hectic - and I’ve really missed them and your sunny and kind personality!! When we’re in a hectic time we sometimes forget to intentionally set aside time to come down from everything and that’s what I’ll really try to do now. To set aside time intentionally to watch your video and really enjoy them 🥰🙏🏻
ОтветитьI think I'll visit this place this year!
ОтветитьI love these videos and everytime I watch one it makes my day better. Thank you for making these
ОтветитьThis is one of my most favorite places. I go here 3-4 times a year.
ОтветитьBig deal. I have hunting up there for 40 years!
ОтветитьI walked the Lost Coast back in the early 70's, before it was a "thing" to do the hike. I was 18, and alone. I walked from the mouth of the Matole River, at the north end, and walked to Shelter Cove - 24 miles of pure isolation. 7 days, never saw another person. But don't kid yourself - take a tide schedule - you can get trapped. Don't do it in the early spring - the rivers will be quite high, and there are - or were - no bridges. Oh, and bears.Take care.
ОтветитьYou've found my favorite part of the California coast...I've been thinking of this place... Thanks for the reminder of how beautiful it is.
ОтветитьWow! What a gorgeous looking coastline. No doubt, exploring it all would keep a person busy for quite some time!
