Oh Jamie! Thank you. I hope that wee guy is okay. Maybe consider creating some more hedgehog friendly habitat , shady nooks and low water bowls for him. He must have been quite hot and desperate for water to lay out in the open like that.
They are night creatures. I hope all your vacation plans work out well for you. I know too well what it is like driving a vehicle and always worried why it just feels "off" or "not quit right"

A hedgehog seen during the day is sick. I would seek advice from a hedgehog rescue centre or a vet .

The lack of rain has caused a lot of problems for our wildlife.
It is the wrong time of the year and for parent birds trying to feed their young it is a real problem as the ground is so hard. Dried mealy worms left to soak for a while are perfect , but please don't give them to hedgehogs as they are really bad for them, as are milk and bread.
Cat biscuits are ok for hedgehogs , although kitten biscuits even better.
If you have no problem attracting rats then tinned dog food is fine.
It isn't a good sign that they are out in the day, often due to slug pellet poisoning, but a lot of wildlife are struggling during this dry Spring
Water is often what they are craving !!

I’ve never seen a hedgehog “in the wild” - you were so kind to it. I also had no idea they would eat dog food. Yay for the van only needing a wheel alignment (which most of your followers had already diagnosed in the previous video)! I don’t think I would pay that little where I live. I can’t believe the other garage gaslighted you! Maybe their specialty is engines, not wheel alignment. I just had a wheel alignment (we have serious potholes here) and it was $119 before taxes! Fingers crossed the van is good to go!

I don't know much about hedgehogs, but I would think if it was well, it would have tried to get away from you. It didn't seem natural for it to be so still, out in the middle of your yard in the open.

Hi Jamie. Just watching again. Something just popped in my mind when you had to get the wheel alignment because the first garage denied knowing about it and said there was nothing wrong……maybe you should go to another garage or even, forgive me for saying this, a Ford dealership and have them check over everything the first garage did in terms of new engine and everything else they did. I mean just to make sure the job was done properly. Not that I think they didn’t, but just to ease your mind and build back a little bit of confidence in the situation with them.😊

Might be an idea to leave food for the hog each night kitten kibble or what you left him previous as soon as it starts getting dark.

Just got to thinking about your hedgehog visit. Have you not got a hedgehog house in your summer house extension. Pop some clean straw in there for him/her. They do like peanut butter (small amounts). Be good if he/she were to make their home there. It is a slow business but after many years we have quite a community of hedgehogs.

Just give chicken based food. No fish. Watch out for health problems.

A little bit behind your videos, so just got to this. If you ever have suspension work done of any kind, GET YOUR WHEEL GEOMETRY CHECKED OUT. Camber, caster, toe, thrust angle. They're all important and having them in line will make sure you get the best tyre life and fuel economy. And if your geometry is really badly out then it can be a safety issue too, so get it done!!!
