Love your videos man, came back to osrs after taking a break for 6 years so all these weapons are new to me. Bought the Fang and i've never looked back! Great for casual slayer, awesome for Bandos, it's very comparable to the DHL even at Vorkath! Its very versatile and has a all purpose feel to it. Who wants to buy a fang for bossing and a DHL for Vorkath and a rapier for slayer??

One thing to note as well is the rapier typically is good for lower defense enemies vs. the fang where it does good with higher defense monsters as well as the double accuracy roll when using stab.

Depends on task but AFK slayer!

Given that rapier is faster, if you can afford it def get it to speed up slayer.

Rapier for low stab def, fang for high def anything.

ghrazi rapier also gets better xp because osmumten's fang has a reduced max hit in exchange for two accuracy rolls meaning that against high defense targets the fang is better in general

do you do nmz alot? if so youre going to be kicking yourself in the ass for not leveling slayer and combat at the same time. nothing like seeing max combats with 60 slayer and 0 gp

Rapier is double the price because its from tob. Tob has never been as accessible as toa is. Finding s team to lesrn tob is extremely hard. Finding one for toa is relatively easy. Supply and demand really. As for the fang itself. I think its a great weapon even sith the nerf. The only thing that actually changed about it is the slash. You can still use strength options on it but its in a stabbing motion. Or defence or even attack. The passive effect still works on it. And tbh. A rapier is like the last thing you should buy. Tent whip is much cheaper and a rapier outside of slayer is only good for a few niche things like crystals at vasa. When i owned one thats the only tike i used it. It being a bit slowly isnt a hug problem when you consider in the passive stuff. Still a great slayer weapon.

With melee training, GP per XP irreverent because you still own the item so it isn't actually costing you money to use it if you sell it afterwards. At a 6 hour shorter training time, most would use the rapier if it was viable to them financially and they were only concerned with fastest melee training on lower defence npcs but the fan ia beneficial over higher defence level monsters so can you do another comparison against higher defence monsters to see which is better for anyone wanting to decide which is better for bossing or slaying. LOVED THE VIDEO!

Fang vs Abyssal Whip?

Whats crazy is he did a video comparing the abby whip to Grazier and the whip had the same xp rate as the fang. Guess i wasted my time getting to 82 att for the fang since its the same smh

If you're going to save like 30 hours from 80-99 melees that seems pretty worth it to lose 1-2m selling the rapier back from ge tax and potential price fluctuation. Most people that are even looking at gear in the 50m range can probably make 2-5m gp/ph anyway at things like muspah, vorkath etc.

The only reason the fang is so cheap is because jagex dropped the ball on making it so easily obtainable. It should be more rare and cost 50M+.

lmfao i know this is 7 months old, but how the hell did you sneak in that bs gp/upgrade l0l, i mean yeah you can do whatever you like, but that calculation makes no sense at all, you can sell these items back, so there is no gp/xp/upgrade

Both seem like a waste if all you want is combat stat training. Get a Glacial Temotli for 130k and fight Sulphur Nagua. Easy 100k experience per hour in your choice of melee stat. If you don't afk it and pick up the drops, you'll make about 250k gp/hr too.

Highly disagree. Fang is great for the higher defence but the ghrazi is amazing on everything else. Worth it 100%
