You don’t know what the “secret ingredient” is but you’re advocating it’s widespread use based on what the company says. Not like we haven’t done that before. Can we at least assume some government bureaucracy is approving the ingredient? Or could MK’s role include producing a slick video?

Looks like precast concrete. I erected buildings out of that for over 6 years and loved it.

Sounds like life imitating Art. Keaton's 1986 movie, Gung Ho was a good movie where he helped the local economy by repurposing an automobile plant!!!

I am trying to understand how mining, transporting the materials, mixing and pouring in a factory into slabs then transporting them to the site and using heavy equipment to erect the structure saves much energy or reduces CO2 emissions. Also, other than the prefabricated blocks fitting together tighter what makes the building more energy efficient? I mean you mix ingredients together, pour it into forms. Doesn't seem much different than standard concrete. They already pour concrete slabs in factories and transport them. That is how the floors and roofs of most high rise buildings, factories and warehouses have been built for a long time. i am not trying to be difficult but nothing in this video speaks to the actual properties of this product as demonstrably superior to what is already proven. Does it weigh less? Is it stronger? Does it resist the elements better? Does it resist cracking better? Will it last longer?

Some of this didn't make a lot of sense. Steel didn't become obsolete; we just let China eat our lunch. It looks like Keaton is just their celebrity endorser. Did he fire his Hollywood agent? I don't think so. A secret formula like coca-cola? I bet it's made from elephant tusks.

What does Michael Keaton have to do with this? Is he putting his own money into the company. did he invent the stuff. or is he just a spokesman?

Make Believe, fantasy and pretending, that's his profession. Sounds a little off - kilter... so, is he just giving a thumbs up, is he financing the project, or will he be putting on his tool belt and getting his hands dirty and why is there no footage of him saying anything about this incredible, amazing and fantastic product. So many half answered questions makes suspecting deceptive news a very real thing.

I'm skeptical. Pre-cast concrete panels are generally a good idea, as is the idea of combining insulating layers, but...
most of the CO2 emissions from a building come from years of heating, cooling, and lighting, and these buildings will still need those features. I disagree that you can build "an airtight envelope" if it has double doors and hundreds of customers per day; never mind that restaurants have large glass facades. The world needs more green tech and less green BS.

Nexxite must be geopolymers. The technology should have mostly replaced cement concretes and mortars but for some puzzling reason there is minimal research and investment on it.

It’s always great to hear about new alternatives to concrete. But a single company producing a secret, proprietary product that everyone else has to buy from them doesn’t sound much like a “revolution” in construction. You aren’t going to change anything unless the progress is industry wide and different companies can all be innovating and developing this new material. A single company getting larger profits from patenting this material and not sharing isn’t going to help in our climate emergency at all.
