Can you please do a video comparing the new Nespresso golden caramel and sweet vanilla pods to the old caramel cookie and vanilla custard pie pods? Seeing how different they are and if the new ones are worth getting or better than the originals
ОтветитьThis was a great explanation Alex!! It will definitely help the newcomers to understand.
ОтветитьThank you for posting an update! Always learning new things for my bambino plus.
ОтветитьHave you used Starbucks Espresso Roast? If so, what was your ideal grind size? I have a Breville machine with a grinder, and it might help me to know a good starting point.
ОтветитьJust found your channel! I love your setup! I just got the barista pro and have been messing around trying to dial in my beans. Where is your coffee knock box from?! Is it stoneware??
ОтветитьHey Alex, I see you are using the Acaia Pearl scale. Do you like it and do you think it is worth the price? I have a cheaper food scale that cost $20, but I’m not that crazy about it. Also I like the fact that the Acaia has both weight and timer on it. I always like your recommendations. I also love this video. You are definitely not a coffee snob, which I like. You make it so much easier. Thank you.
ОтветитьThank you so much for your video 🥰 I just made the best shot I have done on my Bambino Plus 😋 I was getting so frustrated and now you have given me hope.
ОтветитьI'm a coffee snob, but dang, I can't dial this machine in to save my life! I have a Niche Zero grinder and I think it needs to be cleaned after months of dark roasts. I get crazy channeling with the naked portafilter as seen thru the Shot Nanny mirror with bitter espresso. Ugh. I'll try your tips and clean my grinder! I have the Normcore tamper and it's awesome!
ОтветитьThis was super useful to me. thank you so much. Practical, non-snoberry. I love it! I just got a Bambino so this really helps me to program mine.
ОтветитьThanks for this video! There are tons are videos regarding the Bambino but yours was among the most useful that I found. Will use it to tune in my new Bambino. Thanks again.
ОтветитьYou’re the best, Alex. Appreciate the help you gave me so much!
ОтветитьThis was very helpful! I have the exact set as well! Curious tho if the 18 g is still the right amount for the original ports filter that comes with the machine? Thanks!
ОтветитьI have a silly question is there a small portable bean grinder? One I could travel with. TYIA
ОтветитьI’ve stopped using my bambino plus because I gave up on trying to dial on espresso! But your video is encouraging me to try again and continue learning ❤
ОтветитьI love coffee 😍 Thanks for the proTips👏
ОтветитьThis is super helpful! Wish I came cross this video sooner! Thank you so much! ❤
ОтветитьYou’re the best teacher!! Thank you so much! This is awesome! That latte looks amazing!!
ОтветитьGreat video, with everything explained extremely good. Well Done😊
ОтветитьI noticed that you didn't run any blank shots -- how's the temperture of the espresso? is it hot enough?
ОтветитьThis is such a great and helpful video! Thank you for sharing!!
ОтветитьActually you should start the timer from infusion time (from the moment you press start). And you're not meant to just stop the coffee extraction
ОтветитьThis was so helpful thank you !
ОтветитьI just recently got the Bambino (not plus) and this video was SUPER! helpful and easy to understand. Thank you. Do you know if I'd be able to fit the 58mm portafilter in my machine? I can't seem to figure out the clear answer.
ОтветитьHi am a new Bambino owner...Am a bit confused of the extracted amount... 18 gm of coffee is 2 shot and should extract 60 ml (g)of expresso..But youre extracting only 34 ml of expresso?
ОтветитьThank you. This was helpful and not overly complicated. Clear and to the key points.
ОтветитьI am going to buy the Breville smart grinder but won't be doing espresso right away. I just want my beans ground for my reusable K-Cup for my Keurig coffeemaker. I had purchased an espressione burr mill grinder and oily beans would not get down from the hopper to be ground and the 10 cup setting never ground more than a 3rd of the out cup.
The Breville I hope will be a perfect replacement for my old Cuisinart mill which ground good, but was getting old. I like tech so the Breville smart grinder will be nice though the Cuisinart was $48 and the Breville smart grinder is $200! Ouch.
Hello. I watched so many videos to learn about dose, yield and time. This morning I finally dialed my Starbucks beans at a 6 and it was almost perfect (I didn't have the dose right). I wish I had found you first. It would have saved me days!!!! Thank you. I did order a naked portafilter yesterday. I'm excited for it to come.
ОтветитьHi I have a regular bambino with the same grinder but the shot doesn’t come out if the grind isn’t 11 or higher. I was wondering if you changed the inner burr grind setting at all or if your is on it’s standard setting.I may have to get a different wdt tool cause mine has 4 prongs and looks a little thicker.
ОтветитьThis was a good video I learned a lot thank you and I just subscribed.
ОтветитьThank you so much out of all the videos I
have watched since I got the Bambino Plus! This is the one that made so much sense.Thank you so much !!!God bless
Thank you, your video helped me the most! I got the same tamper as you - I use the heaviest spring and my shot still pours too quickly but it pours fine when I use the tamper the machine came with. The issue is, I wasn’t tamping consistently. Any tips on how to make the normecore tamper work?
ОтветитьThank you so much for this guide! I was lost as to why I was getting soupy pucks with this machine, and was starting to get disappointed with the machine. Now I can try your method out, hope for the best!
Ответитьthis beats most of the coffee snob videos that tried to explain it, loved this video
ОтветитьGreat video! My only tip would be that pre-infusion should count towards your shot time window of 25-30 seconds. The bambino also has a delay of around 3 seconds from when the button is pushed so the timer should really start when you first hear the “brrrr” sound.
ОтветитьLike to say thank you for your video it's has helped me.cheers .
ОтветитьThank you for this super useful video! Your explanation makes so much sense!
ОтветитьWish you would’ve left a link for the tamper 😟
ОтветитьThanks for this videos im planing on buying this machine this video is so helpful ❤
Ответитьhi! where did you get that clear cup with wooden handle that you are pulling your shots into?
ОтветитьAwesome. Thks. Blessings
ОтветитьGet it Giiirl !!!! Love the realness.
ОтветитьIs this better than Nespresso?
ОтветитьI've finally gotten the machine and grinder myself and I found this video very helpful. The manual and website suggested starting as high as grindsize 11 and to fine-tune it from there, but the reality was that you'd end up with way too much liquid within the given timeframe. So I was worried there was some big secret I had not yet found out about, but then I tried your suggested grindsizes and not only did the amount of liquid look so much more to what it should be, but also when comparing flavours (I had kept the old one I made to compare) were so much different. I haven't been drinking coffee for long, but now I finally understood what watery coffee meant and what I should be looking for. For me everything tasted bitter, but when comparing both I finally started tasting the various elements on my tongue. Now I finally have a starting point of where to start dialing in, I think it would've taken me forever if I had stuck to the manual instructions. So thank you for this video, it is really on point and I found all the tips very helpful, I even got the cup with the handle you have and I love it!
ОтветитьSuper great video and BEAUTIFUL coffee bar!
ОтветитьHello? What basket are you using? The one that comes with the Breville? Wondering because I have the normcore tamper and because of the ridge on the basket, the tamper doesn’t go all the way in.
ОтветитьHey I was just wondering what setting did you set your distributor tool at? I literally have the same set up as you. That's so cool!
ОтветитьOkay, finally back with another comment! Because I am pretty sure some people will wonder the same thing I just found out about when attempting to dial in.
So yes, all steps int he video are correct, but for some reason I felt like I was missing something because my pour times were just not good (too fast all the time) despite going finer and finer on the grind, hitting the lowest grind level on the grinder even! So I read the following: inside the grinder there is a SECOND manual setting to your grind level!! I did not know this, but when you take out the center piece and remove the handle you have a wheel you can twist which is factory-wise set on level 6, but if you change this to perhaps something between 1-4 then it will adjust your pour times drastically!! Drastic enough for me that I am now finally pouring the right amount of coffee within the right amount of time of 25-30 seconds! Why am I dropping this as a comment? Because if you feel things are still not right, or if you feel like you can improve despite doing everything mentioned then this will certainly help! My espressos are finally coming out with the right amount of creaminess as one would expect and now I am finally starting to understand how to properly dial in beans!
Qhat grinder is it that you aee using
ОтветитьAmazing video!!! Thank you!
ОтветитьFrom all videos I have seen you are the first one to time shot not when you press the button. There are mostly beginners who check such video out so I would be careful with presenting industry practices. Programming is nice feature not many show and taste is key at the end of the day.
