I've seen transformer apartments similar to these 25 years ago in Japan and also in Europe. Same with expansion-furniture for small spaces. It just never became a "THING". But hey, leave it to typical US-American BRAG-MOUTHS talking about it as if "they" invented it.

I really don't see the point in having a kitchen without a proper space to eat and share your meal with someone else... Maybe because i'm italian, i don't know.

$4600 per mo., keep in mind this is the NYC asking price. Probably $1200 - $3000 in other parts of the country. Plenty of untapped markets that could benefit from this kind of build, schools, government, overseas countries w/ little usable space to build etc...
