There is nothing wrong with the green lobby or the oil lobby. This is America and it is good to have different views on things. My opinion is that the government should stay out of it. The left wants to tell you what you can have and can't have. Let technology, business and the consumer decide what they want. If the government and politics stayed out of it then it would all work out just fine. I think it is good that people buy electric cars because it is good for the environment. But don't try to tell the people that have gas cars that they must change. Both the left and right try to control what we do by their actions.

How is kicking millions of low and moderate income people off of medicaid and medicare beautiful? Why is giving out 5.3 trillion in tax cuts which is projected to add roughly 3.8 trillion to the debt a beautiful thing? Why is making wage earners who make 30k or less pay more in taxes overall? The way this bill is structured these people will lose their Healthcare credits under the ACA program. They will never be able to afford Healthcare moving forward because of the exploding Healthcare and inflationary costs to name a few.

Yes more money for the super rich and greater deficits. It seems that the deficit was an issue before the election for the GOP but I guess not so much now. Many of the people on Medicaid do work but they either do not have employer coverage or can not afford family plans. States can't pick up the tab--especially Southern and Midwestern States that voted for Trump. They have few options if this goes through as is. However, if passed it is a gift for the democrats at the mid-terms.

I assume the Obamacare subsidies are still based on your MAGI right? (I learned it from you). Many people I know were able to retire because of it. As understand it, you always had to estimate the amount you were going to make to determine your subsidy. I assume the government always would have compared that number to your tax return and make you pay it back if you were not entitled. What is the change you are referring to? Please do a video explaining the effect of the Big Beautiful Bill on Obama Care subsidies for early retirees.

I don’t know how they can verify income you haven’t received yet. We estimate our income and then the next year when we file taxes we have to verify that income and if we exceeded it then we owe money to the IRS for the overage in tax credits that we had gotten. This happened to my son two years running. But my wife and I are retired and we can adjust our income to make sure we don’t make too much.

You forgot to mention that the bill allows the President to ignore the courts if they don't rule in his favor and will not be able to hold him contempt. One further step in crowing him King. This line-item shouldn't even be in a budget bill.

Josh, the government Roth IRA contribution should have a requirement that it stays untouched by the recipient until they hit 59 1/2. Upon premature death, the account should revert back to the government (i.e. taxpayer) who funded it from the beginning. Anything else, and people would just take it early, putting them back into the position of not having enough $ for retirement, the very thing this was intended to solve. Great video by the way...

Indeed some tax breaks might get better or stay longer, bigger tax deductions. So, more money you don't pay tax on. Child tax credits might even go up. For businesses, things like R&D costs could get bigger write-offs
