Garaghak's sewer can also be used as a muck wash, kinda like how we use oil washes. All you gotta do is reduce it in a roughly 1:3 with something like AP speedpaint medium and it becomes a bit more "smearable" and wet looking, so it can leave streaks and splotches for grime.
ОтветитьAny reference charts?
ОтветитьSERIOUSLY ?! Where is Briar queen chill ? This paint is an absolute scam. It has been advertised as almost a wash but it's not ! Straight from the pot it's almost opaque as nighthaunt gloom ! Just watch on warhammer community news... briar queen should go into receses but it's not ! You have to thin it down A LOT to make a mediocre result ! I'm done with theses biased reviews !
Thumb down and i'm out of your videos especially considering how much money you did with commercials and our views !
It almost feels like GW is gearing up to switch their entire line to "Contrast", and that these "base paint" Contrast paints are the leading edge of that spear.
ОтветитьDo you use these straight out of the pot or are they better using a wet pallette?
Ответить🤣 hahahahaha yer right your a painter and I was there when the only oil we had was gloss Nul oil yet I have a few in the box and we'll touching up and joints the details are far superior to the old 90's version but you can definitely still stuff it especially if your base is not right. 😃😄😁😆😅5 Smile's.
Ответитьdude i want these paints on a Gundam
ОтветитьWalmart sells paint for 54 cents,
paint thinner for 10$/gallon.
Thanks for this honnest revieuw. I do have a question. Did You use thinner for the contrast? (while using Airbrush)
ОтветитьI would love to hear your contrast paints that you use for each color! Possible video?
ОтветитьPylar glacier for vampire skin. You're welcome.
ОтветитьSmashing video dude keep the videos up
ОтветитьDang I was really hoping the orange would make a good highlight ink over my zenithal and shadow with Flesh Tearer red. But it looks like it might not work.
ОтветитьHow much do you thin the contrast paints to run it through the air brush ?
ОтветитьHonestly, Army Painter's Fire Giant Orange speedpaint is one of the nicest oranges I've seen.
ОтветитьCitadel - 25 paint pots, $200
Vallejo - 24 paint pots, $50-$75
$195??? Holy balls, just make your own... All you need is an acrylic ink of the color of your choice, then add an equal amount of matte medium and a few drops of flow aid, and you have EXACTLY what's in their OVERPRICED pots.
ОтветитьFor being "contrast" paints they a lot of them look flat and like a single note. Why wouldn't I just water down some 53 cent hobby store paint? I don't get nearly any color range from paints like magmadroth flame, it's just.... Red orange.
ОтветитьThey just need to market Imperial Fist yellow and the like as "I Can't Believe It's Not Ink"
ОтветитьPylar Glacier for fly wings, anyone?
ОтветитьWarhipster does incredible yet fairly simple to follow guides using Citadel contrast paints. The only thing I find is the end result looks greasy. Anyone know if that is because of the varnish he used or it’s just inherent in theses paints. Could Matt varnish fix that?
ОтветитьThe pots are simply terrible. That is why Vallejo wins hands down.
ОтветитьYeah, fix your problems by spending 250 more dollars. GW paints are such a scam is disgusting.
Ответить@SquidmarMiniatures you should try the new Vallejo Xpress line up and see how it compares to these
ОтветитьThese paint pots are anti customer, they will dry out.
ОтветитьGW should sell zenithalled prebuilts to market that many different contrast colors. holy
ОтветитьRest bro. Rest.
ОтветитьSo far, if you're using these through the airbrush anyway, what's the advantage of contrasts over say Liquitex Inks?
ОтветитьAre these best from the pot or a wet pallete?
ОтветитьBro the colors act totally diffrent when i use em. I heard one guy said hes having a problem when he dryd those colors too quickly, just so u know theres more to do with em.. and well i dont see them as a problem since it is the air whatsoever over here making them dry fast slow (or diffrent issues) anyways not finished my army or the trying stuff ill hook u up in time
ОтветитьI make my own for like half the price and and get about 4 times the amount of a gw pot, they are a rip off.
ОтветитьJust why?
Ответитьthey did have a good yellow, it was called "sunburst yellow" and was discontinued because "reasons" I guess
mostly moved to reaper and vellejo
none of them because those prices are not worth our business
ОтветитьI find your dismissive attitude towards Hulk Pants Purple to be offensive. You never know when you might need to paint many Hulk pants.
ОтветитьWhere did you get the spider model, I've made my own contrast paints and would love to test them on that model?
ОтветитьI found the doomfire magenta to be very bright and pigmented, *IF* you shake the pot a ton before applying. If you don't shake, it comes out darker and more red.
ОтветитьIn the meantime, do I have a colour scheme for you! We have a St Andrews cross spider that has fluro yellow, orange, Rhinox Hide brown and deep red, plus some dry brushed colours. The best thing is these creatures are the same size as the plastic models you just painted so there is no scaling of colours.
ОтветитьI truly hate buying paints for the first time. Citadel paints need to be sold in kits too. Army Painter has that on lock. Vallejo has some nice kits, but not with Xpress Colors yet...
ОтветитьThat glacier paint looks like it could be used for ice or even ice like skin
Ответить"Cliffhanger" 😂😂😂
ОтветитьLOL the GUTTRIPA XD that is word play gut=english for gut tripa=spanish for gut love the name
ОтветитьYour best video ive seen so far!
ОтветитьIf GW wants to do something amazing with their paints they should just ditch the pots.
ОтветитьI would pay them to make a better bottle/pot.
ОтветитьThese paints are a 100% rip off. You can buy 99 cent paint and achieve similar results if you know what you're doing.
Ответить
