Visit & Ride to Rohtas Fort and Mangla Water Resort || Part 2 || Birthday Party

We left Lahore in early hours (630 am) and reached Dina (1030 am) by a hired coaster from where our Cycle ride started. We started our ride from a venue at Dina Chowk (Near Jhelum) where our cycles were ready. It was 9 km up and down ride to Rohtas Fort with a beautiful view around us. Rohtas Fort or Rotas Ghur (Qila Rohtas) is a 16th-century fortress located near Dina in the Jhelum district of the Punjab province of Pakistan. An Afghan general, Sher Shah Suri built the fort, which is one of the largest and most formidable in the Punjab Due to its location, massive walls, trap gates, and step-wells Rohtas Fort could withstand a significant siege but never had to. The fort remained remarkably intact and was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1997. UNESCO called it an "exceptional example of the Muslim military architecture of Central and South Asia. Later we all went to Mangla Water Resort where we had our Lunch at Speed Boat Ramkot, followed by watersports including Jet Skiing, Parasailing, Jet Boating, etc. It was very well planned and executed.
