I had a keloid the size of a small pea on my jawline. Apple cider vinegar work very well in reducing the size. After applying it to my keloid for 20-30 minutes once or twice a day for about 3 days, it scabbed up. When the scab finally fell of it was incredible how much smaller it was. Fair warning, apple cider does burn after a while so I recommend diluting it with water if you are sensitive to pain. I don’t know if this works for everyone but I wanted to share my experience.

Actually Keloids can affect 'everyone'. Its just more common in people with 'pigmented' skin. I'm causation and I have keloids.

I have keloid. ive seen people has severe keloids use tea tree oil the tea tree oil will help get rid of them n lowers the keloids so ur skin get back to normal. u can get tea tree oil in Walmart target Walgreens or any other ur local store. u don't need surgery it works I use it n my keloids doesn't come back. people if u have keloids use it it works great. there's no pain the tea tree oil gets rid of it the tea tree oil is like a sponge it soaks up the keloids n puts moisture into ur skin. it works!!!! :)

I have keloids all over my body from accidents and cuts and it's really not a big deal for the average person with keloids, and plus they usually diminish over time.

I do not suffer from this but I can only imagine how it must be uncomfortable especially for those that have severe cases,all I can say you all are very brave & beautiful nobody has the right to judge you & make you feel uncomfortable I'm your in my thoughts

I have one big Keloid on mid of the chest that does pain always. Three Keloids on the right shoulder and two Keloids are on the left shoulder. One new Keloid is growing up on upper part of the chest.And one very tiny Keloid is coming on the stomach. Except of all these things I have multiple of Lipomas in my whole body like both hands , both thighs, stomach , etc.. All Lipomas and Keloids are increasing in size and shape. Age 31 years.I am also getting bald day by day.I am always frustrat.What to do? what will happen in my life? Please suggest me.....

If this affected the “majority” instead of the “minority” then something would have been done decades ago.

Cryoshape helped in addition to steroid injection.. and with aloooot of patience. But there are still some keloids left.

I am a patient of Dr. Tirgan as well, and he is one of the most compassionate physician's I have ever met and very gentle! I had a keloid pimple on my chest, it looked like a mosquito bite, it wasn't going away for many months, and it was bothering me because it was itching as if there was something alive in it. At that time I never heard about keloids, so I went to dermatologist, he said he didn't know what it was, he did surgery, and was insisting to send it to check if it was cancer. And then it grew twice larger. I Googled and came to conclusion that it was a keloid, I wrote that to that doctor, and he told me to come back to do steroids injections. But I bought warts removal kit to freeze it. First attempt was unsuccessful, there was some improvement, but it came back, then I've read I need to freeze it multiple times, let it turn pink and freeze again, and do that at least 3 times. And also have to apply some pressure afterwards, so I put a small bandage. And a few weeks later it was GONE, no marks left on that place.
