Step 1 in making electric motors magnitude more efficient, stronger, and longer lasting by allowing reprogrammed poles. Combine that kind of electrical engine with alternators, but with a flat axial instead of the normal tube design.

I wish they can make a magnetic shield that can short and unshort a magnetic field so that humanity can finally have an electric generator that have no moving parts.

Maybe you can have a video describing were the energy comes from and if the magnetism runs out.

This is one of the biggest discoveries of all time. Could change everything.... Perhaps there are implications for nuclear fusion since that relies heavily on magnetism to confine the plasma.. being able to Taylor magnetic fields may help!!! Exciting!

Is it conceivable to create a succession of magnetic fields that might create a power advantage by their repulsion in a rotary machine? This means a kinetic force from repulsion that is 0 friction and minimal electrical force to assist in creating the 'magnetic shear', thus creating astounding energy efficiency. POSSIBLE?

I got a fundraising tour of this company in 2010 when it was known as CORRELATED MAGNETICS because my girlfriend’s grandmother was a seed investor.
I am so thankful I did not invest in this company because they clearly have a cool technology but I thought this would be revolutionary at the time just like you did and it doesn’t seem to have taken off before core patent protection will run out. No doubt though from an engineer standpoint this is one of the coolest companies I’ve seen. The twist spring is extremely cool. At that time they seemed to be burning through cash at a staggering rate. With these types of technologies it is often better to design the company for a buyout from a big industrial player who has the sales channels to promote it. That was my biggest lesson.

You could use this technology to make a magnetically powered gun. The initial push of the projectile wouldn't take very much effort but by the time the projectile reached the end of the barrel it could be traveling at outrageous speeds.

Pretty cool large scale application of how old disc drives work. I'm sure a lot of the tools they're using are a bit different and new. Manipulating magnetic poles in a bulk material isn't really entirely new, these applications of it seems pretty novel though.

These could be used as keys! Imagine a rod, with a unique magnetic pattern to unlock something. Just like a regular key, you can still see what that pattern is, but replicating it would require a fancy machine like that, which currently only exists in that lab.
