This is great stuff but garrets mom is out of pocket for giving him that hair cut
ОтветитьApple magsafe cables: the origins
Ответитьthat kid asks the teacher to check homework
ОтветитьOne word. Ferrofluid
ОтветитьStep 1 in making electric motors magnitude more efficient, stronger, and longer lasting by allowing reprogrammed poles. Combine that kind of electrical engine with alternators, but with a flat axial instead of the normal tube design.
ОтветитьLittle boy should get into physics it did that cause it's power doubled when the other attached or Am I wrong in this?
ОтветитьSo someone already thought of something like this? Wow. I hope they come up with some fun and amazing creations for the rest of us
ОтветитьI wish they can make a magnetic shield that can short and unshort a magnetic field so that humanity can finally have an electric generator that have no moving parts.
ОтветитьWhy does that kid look like Jeffrey dahmer
ОтветитьMaybe you can have a video describing were the energy comes from and if the magnetism runs out.
ОтветитьThat would up the difficulty for a marble maze, when you can't see the track!
ОтветитьPolymagnets are so interesting. Way cool. Made me think about my dad a lot. He was an electrical engineer and would be going wow right now. Destin your videos are great.
ОтветитьFrom their website "This technology is so unique, we’ve received over 100 patents."
ОтветитьPerhaps Electricless motors or generators, or latches or relays or actuators, Fluidless shock absorbers.
ОтветитьOMG i'm dying laughing did not expect garrett to look like that
ОтветитьThat's some of the most incredible stuff I've seen in a while. The possibilities are endless!
ОтветитьThis is one of the biggest discoveries of all time. Could change everything.... Perhaps there are implications for nuclear fusion since that relies heavily on magnetism to confine the plasma.. being able to Taylor magnetic fields may help!!! Exciting!
ОтветитьGreat video!
Also, I'm glad you introduced me to audible years ago. I'm 140+ titles deep, and truly getting smarter every day. Thanks, Destin.
Is it conceivable to create a succession of magnetic fields that might create a power advantage by their repulsion in a rotary machine? This means a kinetic force from repulsion that is 0 friction and minimal electrical force to assist in creating the 'magnetic shear', thus creating astounding energy efficiency. POSSIBLE?
Ответитьthey need to figure out how to print 3d magnetic structures as well.....
ОтветитьWoW...🤯 That's amazing...✨
ОтветитьI can imagine the spring and lock polymagnet being usied in a variiable magnetic regen braking syatem, with the locking mode kicking in to activate a stronger brake disc, or even an emergency brake mode.
ОтветитьThese kinds of magnets might make for some incedibly high-quality speakers and headphones, etc. 😳
ОтветитьIt is truly awesome.
Ответить👍👊
Ответитьwow, that was pretty neat.
ОтветитьSome people dont realise just how amazing this could be, the CRAZY things and contraptions we will be able to make🤯
ОтветитьOk this must be illegal against the laws of physics!
ОтветитьGarrett definitely has the haircut to match the brains
ОтветитьThis is an incredible technology. There will be so many potential applications from day to day (he mentioned doorknobs) to manufacturing, to even enabling breakthrough technologies.
ОтветитьYou need to put spoiler alert for your video. There are maglev trains and students might be interested in designing them. So I have some idea for a video. Can you make a Newton's cradle with those attracting and repelling magnets? Thanks.😅😅😅😅😅
ОтветитьThose poly magnets are pure wow 😮
Ответитьnice
ОтветитьWow, vehicle applications endless. Frictionless pistons, shock absorbers, gear applications.......
ОтветитьJust awesome man 🎉🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤
ОтветитьI got a fundraising tour of this company in 2010 when it was known as CORRELATED MAGNETICS because my girlfriend’s grandmother was a seed investor.
I am so thankful I did not invest in this company because they clearly have a cool technology but I thought this would be revolutionary at the time just like you did and it doesn’t seem to have taken off before core patent protection will run out. No doubt though from an engineer standpoint this is one of the coolest companies I’ve seen. The twist spring is extremely cool. At that time they seemed to be burning through cash at a staggering rate. With these types of technologies it is often better to design the company for a buyout from a big industrial player who has the sales channels to promote it. That was my biggest lesson.
Smarter 153 John 21 11 Simon Peter went up, and drew the net to land full of great fishes, an hundred and fifty and three: and for all there were so many, yet was not the net broken.
12 Jesus saith unto them, Come and dine.
You could use this technology to make a magnetically powered gun. The initial push of the projectile wouldn't take very much effort but by the time the projectile reached the end of the barrel it could be traveling at outrageous speeds.
ОтветитьSprockets... Polymagnetize a sprocket and lets see some grade A perpetual motion!!! Or at least something close enough to trick my perception and settle my addiction..
ОтветитьPretty cool large scale application of how old disc drives work. I'm sure a lot of the tools they're using are a bit different and new. Manipulating magnetic poles in a bulk material isn't really entirely new, these applications of it seems pretty novel though.
ОтветитьThis is from "8 years ago", and I'm just seeing it now. How much has this tech now advanced since?
ОтветитьThese could be used as keys! Imagine a rod, with a unique magnetic pattern to unlock something. Just like a regular key, you can still see what that pattern is, but replicating it would require a fancy machine like that, which currently only exists in that lab.
ОтветитьWho would condemn their child to a haircut like that.
ОтветитьIs this already available for sale? What's a continutation of a story?
Ответить
