The rigths of administering medication is very crucial part of the job as a nurse. My last assigned area was ICCU and we were not able to administer meds but we were taught since first year that in every patient you handle, not only double check, but triple check everything when administering medication. Making sure that the patient know their rights when it comes to this, also plays a huge role. We were able to do return demonstration about this. This was very informative and also a great way to recall informations.
