Damn, playing stadia is about as bad as me accessing my private PC from my work Laptop via AnyDesk in order to play my video games at work XD Pretty much anything that isn't turn based or in some other way non-reliant on stable fast connection is completely unplayable.

Google Stadia idea is very good on paper but somehow awful on execution.

Stadia….the biggest gaming joke on the planet

The biggest reason i never bought into stadia: no universal Cross play, you couldn't play games you already own on steam or Xbox: you had to buy them on Stadia.

GeForce now: you can play games you already own on steam and now game pass. There was no GeForce now exclusive store.

Stadia would have been great if they could of gotten the licencing correct, or at the very least make it a subscription service like game pass. At the very least: if i have friends who have games on stadia, i couldn't play with them if i own the game on steam. Universal crossplay should have been priority #1.

For some reason, I thought Stadia and Ouya were the same thing.

Yeah I don't think stadia is the worst. I think the famicon clones that are still everywhere are the worst.

This should have been a slam dunk, there's no excuse for this, it had everything it needed and still failed.

Watching this from my NVidia Shield. A device that came out in 2015 and does everything Stadia claimed, but was also a media streaming device.

I'm here a year after Stadia died.

I'm sure it will go down in the annals of history as one of the worst flops ever to exist, up there with the Capacitance Electronic Disc and Cats 2019.

To be fair, he absolutely said that it would play on pixel phones, which I took to mean only pixel phones, otherwise, why the distinction?

Not going to lie, Stadia could've been something good. I love the concept, especially as somebody who hoards potatoe PC's and laptops, but it just didn't turn out that way lol

I must say i'm glad this dumpster fire failed. Charging to "get the full experience" is absolutely absurd, and shows just how greedy google is.

Stadia sounds like it sucks, I'm glad I didn't get involved.

A friend of mine got the Stadia, subscribed for something like 18 months, then they closed. They actually refunded him 100% of everything he paid for that whole period and the hardware.

I poke a lot of fun at google for ruining this one. But stadia did introduce me to game streaming which i use every day so very appreciative of that.

Wherever Phil Harrison goes, that company fails. The PS3? Considered a failure compared to other PlayStations. Xbox One? Obliterated. Stadia? Shut down 😂

coming back to this in 2023 is just fantastic

The stadia controller is generic and lacks general support which is a shame because it's actually really comfortable
