And Fiat stocks plummet.
ОтветитьIs this a movie about the Tesla car company? Based on my Model X I would say so.
ОтветитьBefore this the old guy opens up the hood of one of the cars and there's one of the builders sitting where the engine should be.
ОтветитьSo this is a Batman origin story?
ОтветитьSo, Mr. Sakimoto gets the horse manure car. Good Trade.
ОтветитьAs a retired auto mechanic, luxury vehicle (vans) converter, and custom fire truck builder I can honestly tell you that even though this is a work of comedic fiction there is more true in this movie the not true! I even wrote a book series about my experiences in American industry. This movie was a partial inspiration for it.
ОтветитьHahaha! That's got to be the puniest car ever!
Ответитьgreat scene but would've been better if just one thing fell apart like the bumper
Ответить'I'm going home in my new car.' BABY!
ОтветитьRegata, an underrated car. My uncle and my father had it. It was comfortable and with superior engine and interiors compared to Golf. Unfortunately, some of them were built too much in hurry, as this one of the clip
ОтветитьSadly... American Kars in the late 70's...

What a charming little forgotten movie that never gets talked about enough. It was basically the comedy version of Roger and Me. One of those movies thet could only come from the 80s. Keaton crushed it, too. I think of it as a semisequel to Mr Mom. Maybe a more depressing version.
ОтветитьI'd hoped they would include that one brief joke between Mr. Sakamoto and Saito: "I don't see anything wrong with these cars." "Are you crazy?!?" And the horrified look that spread over Saito's face as he realize what he just said to the boss.
ОтветитьI first saw this around 1986 on a 747 to a family vacation to England, thanks Mom and Dad.
ОтветитьStarting business school in 1991, the entire U.S. was freaked out about the Japanese. All of the electronics jobs were overseas already, and the auto industry was quickly following. The Honda Accord had beaten out the Ford Taurus for best-selling car. It seemed like the U.S. could do nothing right. We watched this movie in class, talking about differences in management styles and attitudes, with a big caveat that it is a movie not reality. The irony today is that no one fears the Japanese, their economy tanked, and the same things are being said about the Chinese. Who will be the next boogeymen? The Indians?
Ответить🤣🤣🤣
ОтветитьHunt had a great car, though it fell apart. That was funny.
ОтветитьOne of the most underrated Michael Keaton movies of all time ❤ So many great scenes, this is just one.
ОтветитьMovieclips, YOU SUCK! You cut the best part of that scene!
ОтветитьI remember watching this movie also, a loooooooong time ago. It never crossed my mind what the name of it was. I just knew Michael Keaton was in it. I just now found out it is called gung-ho. I must watch it again with my wife this time. 😂😂😂😂
ОтветитьThank you P.E Teacher Coach Monk for recommending this!
ОтветитьDude this is one of the funniest movies of the 80s, this scene just kills
ОтветитьThis movie is not talked about as one of the great 80s Michael Keaton movies. And it should be. He is so excellent in this. Such great comic timing
