I somehow imagined you had an accent in the quickview before the audio started and im so glad you do haha
ОтветитьBan people. There is a difference btw constructive harsh criticism and just stirring someone’s emotions.
I miss N Ireland. 😂❤
Great tips. I like simple videos like this; it is like chatting with a mate.
ОтветитьClass Stephen 👌🤙 incredible work, dedication to the craft and well deserved
ОтветитьI found your channel through that Midge video (thanks algorithm) 😆. Your videos really do bring me happiness with the beautiful shots of Northern Ireland & Scotland and of course your humour. I recently showed my 9yo son the Fart Machine video. He LOVED that and you now have a new fan….who wants to go wild camping…probably with a fart machine. All the best from South East England - keep doing what makes you happy X
ОтветитьNo need to copy, just be yourself cause you’re hilarious! I appreciate that! 🌸
ОтветитьVery honest video. Great advice, thank you.
ОтветитьExcellent thank you mate
ОтветитьI've been watching your vids for the last couple of years (I think) and what I've always enjoyed is the quality of your film making and the humour you inject into them. I also say hello to agricultural animals whilst hiking which is your fault too 😂
ОтветитьHey Stephen, Thank you for sharing your thoughts here, I am one of those who got inspired by your videos and you are important for me. Thank you for all your work. I wonder what is the course/training you mention at the start of the video.
ОтветитьThanks for sharing your experiences! I have followed you for quite a few years now, and as a fellow creator, I find your videos delightful to watch, and your consistency inspiring. Thanks for being so honest and for sharing your outdoor adventures!
ОтветитьFirst I want to tell you that I really love your videos and appreciate what you do, they help to break out of everyone's own narrow world. You show how you can experience a lot of the nature that surrounds us with little effort and that it is important to protect and appreciate this. Please keep it up.
Ответитьi luv your channel im old cant do what you can i can do a day trip but im in N.ireland not much info wish you could help
ОтветитьMSR > Hilleberg.
iPhone > android.
Brown sauce > ketchup.
Please don’t ban me
Well done Stephen you've got a great presenting style, lighthearted, never self important and always engaging and informative 👏👏👏
ОтветитьThought I’d post again without the link to the drawing. These days you can’t tell what is spam and what isn’t. Love your videos and wanted you to know they bring peaceful scenery and always a laugh or 3. Hi, sheep!! Keep doing YOU!
ОтветитьSorry for an off topic question, but - any thoughts on the Instinct Alpi 40 Stephen? It looks perfect for my needs but very expensive and I haven't found any reviews of it, so it feels a risky bet for me.
I love your work, your stuff is just getting better and better, and that Lough Neagh report was sorely needed!
Hey Stephen, I am another user that y/t promoted your tallest mountain in Ireland video to. I'm from Down. Have you tried Earagail in Donegal? Is it tricky or anything to say about it if you've been? As an aside, if you want to do a video on a beginner takes on mountain in wellington boots, I can free up a weekend. ;D
ОтветитьThanks for a very interesting video!
/Matti in Jokkmokk
i love more documentary stuff
ОтветитьWell done Stephen keep it lit.
ОтветитьPaddle to and stay on a remote island
ОтветитьWell done Stephen, congrats on on the channels success.
ОтветитьPhew, I was worried then that you were closing down. I found your channel yesterday, enjoyed the video (the Rab hooped bivvy) and subscribed thinking I'd catch up.
Glad to hear you'll be continuing.
I've been going for 10 years haha
ОтветитьYou make super videos Stephen. You are a super intelligent guy who thinks things out. You are ultra professional. You are also a nice guy. I always knew you would do well. You do deserve to do well whatever you do. Keep going whatever.
I make videos because I enjoy it. It's not for the money because i give most of it away to 3 charities. I don't need it. Others do. I love 'meeting' people from all over the world and locally face to face. Youtubing gives this.
Best wishes from the Belfast Castlereagh hills.
Tom
You’ve just answer my question….what a synchronicity 😅 I’ve just had a talk with my partner today as I am trying grow my channel or come back to it after years break and I recognise that people want certain content, but I don’t really want to do that as there’s tones of people out there doing it already…I know what’s the story I want to say and even if that makes some people leave or not subscribe that is okay….i do believe I will attract the right audience eventually 😊 so hearing you saying this today just confirmed for me I’m on the right track 😄 I am and always believed in authentic as anything else sort of transmits to people and ultimately subconsciously they will know it’s fake and that’s just not me or something I’d like to do…thank you! I really enjoyed this video.
ОтветитьHi Stephen. I only discovered your channel today and have watched three videos already. Just wish I had known about you earlier! Keep up the good work.
ОтветитьNew subscriber. Love your content. Keep doing you.
ОтветитьI've thought, ever since discovering your channel, that it deserves so much more love and hype than it gets. I thoroughly enjoy all your videos. I was initially drawn by your running videos which are my favourites (I am a runner of 2.5 years, prefer trails, and also completed my first Ultra this year) but also find myself watching all uour content. Just wanted to say thank you 😊
ОтветитьAs someone who was posting at least weekly (sometimes 3 times a week) for a period of around 4 months last year, it was so draining. With limited equipment, time and honestly ideas, I was just getting burnt out. I took a year+ break and started filming again literally yesterday, largely in part because of discovering you, as your content is really inspiring. What i'm learning is I'd rather put time into quality content, rather than try and churn out poorly produced content super regularly for the sake of the algorithm.
Keep it up, Stephen. Thanks for your work, and I would absolutely love to meet you someday on my travels.
This was very interesting to watch and listen to. I can relate to it a lot. Much of your wisdom translates well to writing on Medium as well. Anyhow, congrats on 6 years. To many more! 🍻
ОтветитьThanks for a really interesting and important topic! Loved this. As a new channel we struggle weekly with the same questions you’ve touched on here. A new subscriber and eager to see more! ⛰️
ОтветитьUnfortunately the trolls come with the territory as you get more subs. Remember to never feed the trolls, it’s what they want.
ОтветитьI’m one of the recent brand new subscribers and it wasn’t until you said it, but the story telling (whether historical or current) was part of why I didn’t just watch one video and never come back. I watch camping videos only occasionally and usually only because it has something unusual about it. I am not a camper (I know, why am I here? lol) so while I find purely camping videos interesting as well, they are less interesting to me than the docos and stories COMBINED with camping. I’m Australian and I grew up absolutely loving a TV show called “Bush tucker man” who was all around a man who travelled into the remote parts of australia looking for native “bush” foods on behalf of the Australian army (so they can use the intel to survive longer than an enemy in our remote areas). The big thing I loved about that show was that the host included a lot of camping but also with a super strong focus on stories, mostly historical, but also about the indigenous people of australia. Your channel gave me hints of that show from oh so long ago. I worked then, it works now ❤ I look forward to seeing what you make from now on
ОтветитьBetter off running n having a beer at same time welllll campers seam too do it lol any am going binge watch
ОтветитьGlad to see you doing so well pal, it a good message and inspiration to others. Its a similar message im trying to spread on my channel juat im a lot newer, only 6 weeks in, it does get me out more as im constantly thinking of what i qant to do next, wheee i want to go and what message i want to put out. I do like your diffwrwnt approach to your videos it doea make you stand out.
ОтветитьYou can talk for England. But your fun.
Ответитьcould you speak more on how you became a videographer?
ОтветитьVideos where you wind up and take the pee out of your sister always make me laugh! 😂
