Jordan Peterson is the definition of the inauthentic self. His choice for inauthenticity is Sesquipedalian - to overuse big words to look intelligent while encouraging ridiculous & abusive behavior like making a child sit alone until he can learn to deny his feelings. 🤮

Im so happy im doing my best to be the BEST mother to my toddler daughter. I hug her kiss her play with her love her tell her i love you. I let her play with sand and just let her be sometimes doing whatever she wants. I can see some positive results already like shes not jealous at all when i hold amyones baby. Im working on my own traumas at the same time

But it’s still sad that there was no choice for us to abandon our selves. It is truly a tragedy

to be authentic or not to be authentic is pain either way…

One last thing, he promoted harm reduction and injection sites without addressing the societal issues. He is such a bull sitter....I worked with verbal children who were sexually abused (physical and mental abuse). The children were 3-5 years old. He minimizes trauma.... I could go on....😢and 😢he is a manipulator!!!

This specialist has never worked with pre- schoolers!!!

After a few years of watching Maté it finally dawned on me he’s not happy nor does he ever smile. There’s absolutely no joy in this man. Stuck in trauma, the unhealed healer, oh the irony. 🥳

Gabor Mate was my hero. Unfortunately he became political and I can’t not watch him. 😢

I like Gabor but the Jordan Peterson comment lacks class.

This is, I think, why we play the game in dating and relationships: to get/keep the attachment to the caregiver, the protector (culture/society). We then want to be ‘traditional’ instead of following our authentic hearts.
I choose authenticity over attachment in this case, and that can hurt, but it also keeps me original.
