Jada pinket casts herself as lex Luther. I've been watching superhero movies forever and am old enough to have watched the Superman the motion picture television event. In all that time, she's the only performer to give me fear and dread as a comic book villain in Gotham. She's involuntarily bald. Yeah we found out later that she's really evil.

Caveat. I'd love to see a remake of the ten commandments. The one with chuck heston and Yul Brynner. But instead of Chuck heston playing Moses. He plays general zod. For that you'd need a more flexible actor playing Luther. One who could be the hero of his own story. Luther is one villain without redeeming qualities or anything we want the audience to identify with. But what could make him want to do good? Lex as pharaoh trying to save his people from a Kryptonian general.
