Can you please confirm or deny if this dual-herz panel runs in integer scale 4x4 pixel-perfect mode when using 1080p? Maybe you can make some macro photos of this mode?
ОтветитьWaiting for this Monitor <1000€. One year waiting I think
Ответить1080p 32" is dumb.
ОтветитьBest review. You covered my concern about the quality of 1080p stretched to a 32" display. As well as which of the 3 1080p modes look better. Thank you! Which Dac or soundcard is that? Thanks
Ответить99% of people don’t need this.. 240Hz is more than enough
Ответить1080p on 32 is gonna look like dogshit. End of video 😅
Ответить1080p at 32 inches just isn’t enough pixel density for me. I just don’t like seeing the pixels
ОтветитьCan buy the MSI MPG 321URX QD-OLED, 32" 4K UHD and a 480hz 1080p monitor for cheaper if I wanted 1080p there's plenty of cheaper options out there
Ответитьi used a 27 FHD for fps games like valorant and it sucks, imagine a 32...
ОтветитьAs someone waiting for this gen of oled monitors to settle later this year before diving in the would be significantly more compelling with a price cut. As cool as these features are this simply costs too much.
Ответитьheyy nice video,, what's the website/music player at 14 minutes? :3
ОтветитьActually its shit for sure.
Ответитьi actually wish this tech isn't patented and some manufacturer gives console gamers a 4K60 HZ/ 1080P 120HZ or even double de Refresh Rate and include black frame insertions, that would be my dream monitor
ОтветитьReview twisted minds TM22FHD100IPS budget monitor please
ОтветитьWaiting for this to be available in Europe, it's the perfect monitor for me coming from a 1440p 360hz IPS (Asus pg27aqn), having 4K@240 for work/desktop and 1080p 480hz for sweaty e-sports is what I was trying to achieve with the 1440p@360hz monitor while failing slightly at both.
ОтветитьWaiting for 27 inch 4K 240hz
ОтветитьI just preordered this monitor, ships this Friday ! I can’t wait
ОтветитьBest review so far - really liked the FPS game comparisons
ОтветитьSonds interresting! But what would happen if I have a 4k display and just set the ingame rez to 1080p?
:-)
Why this man using Big Head Cheats in 2024
ОтветитьI feel like its a 2 steps forward and 1 step back kind of thing, I wonder why they didn't do a 1 go 1 pixel map for the lower resolution? While they are at it they should add the ability to center the image at the bottom of the screen because your going to be sitting a lot closer potentially with your hands underneath the monitor operating the mouse and keyboard. Thats the case for me already as I must be that close for my glasses to be in focus. A 4K 27 inch that can be dropped to 1440p seems like a better combo to me. Assuming they can get the pixel density that high with oled.
ОтветитьIf these types of monitors are possible, I'm hoping for a monitor that can do 4k240hz/2k360hz/1080p480hz all in one AND is an OLED
ОтветитьFortnite....
ОтветитьI'm confused. LG support said that you don't need DSC for both 240hz 4k and 1080p at 480hz, but I don't see any information about the monitor having DP 2.0. As far as I know, it only has a HDMI 2.1 and DP 1.4 with DSC and HDMI 2.1 can not do 240hz native 4k even at 8bit, it isn't even close so either LG is lying or then I'm missing something, someone please explain.
I do know that both HDMI 2.1 and DP 1.4 can do 240hz at 4k with DSC but I am talking about without it, which is what they claim. Max data rate of a HDMI 2.1 is 41.92 Gbit/s which is enough for 1080p 480hz at 8bit ( Data Rate Required: 31.96 Gbit/s for 480hz at 1080p 8 bit without DSC, CVT-R2 ) but it isn't nearly enough for 240hz at 4k ( Data Rate Required: 54.84 Gbit/s for 240hz 4k at 8bit, CVT-R2 ) that is way beyond what HDMI 2.1 can do, also most people would probably want to play 4k at 10bit anyway and for that you need 68.56 Gbit/s data rate. HDMI 2.1 with DSC and then you can even do 12 bit 240hz 4k, but again that is with DSC and since they claim that you do not need DSC for both, I would like to know what am I missing here?
$1400 lol ... this one headed for the discount bin
Ответить🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
ОтветитьMost LCDs these days have to be run at 5/100 or so brightness in a moderately bright room, so there's no point comparing to them, no-one needs anywhere near full brightness that LCDs provide.
Ответитьhey, i've heard people say with this monitor that the 24" or 27" crop mode for 1080p makes it look worse/blurrier/granier than the actual 32" 1080p full screen mode. is this true?
ОтветитьHave you heard the studio display speakers? How do the speakers compare if you have. Great channel. Just found you.
ОтветитьIs your icc profile srgb or is it still wide gamut? Wondering if it’s can be used for photo editing
ОтветитьI am really liking your videos but I am very interested in those headphones. Are those Hifiman Ananda or Arya Stealth ? Also what are the iems that you wise with the nice white translucent cable ?
ОтветитьDO i use DP1.4 or HDMI 2.1 for this monitor for my PC?
ОтветитьI can choose any refresh rate between 50 and 160Hz on my Samsung 1440p CRT following the horizontal frequency of the monitor.
Not impressive.
Going from 60hz to 120hz is a massive difference - literally like night vs day, way less input lag, nice smooth animations. Going from 120hz to 144hz - almost identical. Going from 144hz to 240hz - subtle differences noticed, mouse movements and scrolling feels smoother and in-game animations feel slightly smoother. Going from 240hz to 480hz - completely pointless, can't tell the difference in animations or smoothness or input lag. One thing I will say is that dropping to 1080p 480hz makes the image quality look like ass. Better to keep it on 4K 240hz. Just make sure you have a RTX 4080 Super or RTX 4090 to drive it. I have the Gigabyte Aorus FO32U2P 4K 240hz monitor - very similar to this LG one except it is QD OLED and glossy screen with full DP 2.1 (80gbps).
ОтветитьWould love to hear from you about the new firmware for Lg 32 inch woled monitor, it fixed the HDR quality according to parch notes.
Ответитьwhere do you get these wallpapers they look so good
ОтветитьIf anyone has tips on how they setup HDR o this monitor I'd love to know. I use the ICC profile here, but the HDR looks terrible after using the win 11 calibration tool for it. Everything from steam ui and some games looks washed out to hell and colors just look weird.
ОтветитьCould you evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of the XG272-2K-OLED and AW2725DF? Especially noting that the XG272-2K-OLED is a 2H2D interface monitor! It seems that its A/D board is relatively different from other 27" OLED monitors. Additionally, I suggest that your future LCD monitor reviews include an introduction to the A/D board for each model.
LG 32GS95UE => real 10bit(non-frc)
LG 27GR95QE & 27GS95QE => 10bit(8bit+frc)
This is a well made product from LG. However, after I played on a 360hz 1080p monitor I realized 1440p was much better. I ended up replacing that monitor with a 1440p 240hz monitor. I think that whenever oled 1440p 480hz monitors come out I will snag one.
ОтветитьGreat review!
ОтветитьIs there a reason LG goes with 1080p instead of 1440p ? the panel should be able to do this or ?
Ответитьthe price is double crazy
ОтветитьHow do you turn off adaptive sync when on 480hz mode, it's greyed out for me :(
ОтветитьI’ve been using this monitor for a little while and man, I definitely don’t think I’ll need to upgrade for a very long time
Ответитьam i the only one that wants this for movies? since most are only still released in 1080p
ОтветитьI would love 5K 120 / 1440p 360 Hz @ 27 inch. One HiDPi for MacOS and productivity/text. One for gaming.
Ответить8k monitor like this would be something else. You get multiple native resolutions: 8k, 4k, 1440p (it cleanly divides by 3!), 1080p. Imagine each resolution getting progressively higher refresh rate. End game if it would not be bigger than 27 inches (PPI is really important) and 8k would be at, at least, 120Hz. In some sense, in the future, we are going back to the way monitors worked in CRT days.
ОтветитьI´ve just bought this monitor, and I´ve noticed some curve on de middle of the screen...
have you experienced or noticed the same with yours?
