Sending a 'thank you' from here in the UK for a clear summary of the players roles. This video didn't need any music, it's better without it. It has however, answered a lot of questions I had about this very subject. I wasn't sure what I was expecting but I wasn't expecting this to be quite as good as it is. Even as a longtime fan and former highschool player this was a fun watch. Nicely done!

The defensive 'nose tackle' is properly known as the 'nose guard' or 'middle guard' and is positioned directly opposite the center. I know this as I played that position for three years. Defensive tackles are called just that...'defensive tackles." They line up in the gap between the offensive guards and tackles.

I play pee wee football and my positions on defense are safety and cornerback. On offense i am a wide receiver.

This has been very helpful thank you, my son is playing 3rd/4th grade football. Not an athlete at all in my case, was in high-school band but could care less about learning anything outside of scoring and some fouls. Now I'm trying to catch up and understand for my son, when your kid is interested in a sport or hobby it's time to learn something.
