Does Xbox have a future!?
ОтветитьGamepass is alright sometimes have had it for years and canceled it fluffed with shit
ОтветитьGame pass ultimate is such an awesome deal, I own both consoles. The new Microsoft flight simulator 2024 is incredible.
ОтветитьI am getting a pc. The prices are down for hardware and the games cost pennies. Plus the mods plus the customization, plus....
ОтветитьI just purchased a new Xbox series S. Not a heavy gamer but still want to play COD, PUBG & GTA when it arrives.
ОтветитьThis guy is spreading misinformation
ОтветитьWhat happend is Xbox is taking over, Playstation 5 has ZERO games only comes out with remakes and remasters.
Xbox is where the games are at.👌.
Playstation is just a waste of money at this point.

It’s kinda sad cause I do feel like Xbox is dying… I only wanted that precise haptics (like the PS5 controller)
ОтветитьThis video feels like it tried to justify the PS5 Pro.
When PS5 dropped with 10TF of power and Series X had 12,5TF, people were like: "Basicly no difference anyway"
Now PS5 Pro has 16TF and Series X 12,5, so I guess history repeat itself while being "basicly no difference".
And Game Pass is truly a sales pitch when you look at how little PS Plus Platinum has of games.
You're overlooking an important detail: Microsoft has already confirmed there won't be a mid-generation refresh, and the next-gen console is scheduled for release in 2026. Even if they did release a mid-gen console, I wouldn't buy it and would prefer to wait for the next-gen model instead or possibly for next year handheld device.
ОтветитьI love the Series X, for back compat.
ОтветитьI would say buy an Xbox because you like Xbox if you like a console you should just buy it I mean why what's with these stupid videos not yours I'm just saying people saying either dunking on one console or not everyone has a different thing that they like a different opinion a different console who cares about game house or Playstation pass if you like what you like to go for it personally I like PC I get it all on PC and I don't have to worry about it
ОтветитьLet’s be honest on Sony side we have a “believe” that the games are coming on the Xbox we have sure, PlayStation is not even close where they were in terms of games and the Xbox is getting better by investing in studios but some games will come to every platform…that’s the point There are games coming. The advantage of have a Xbox is that you can enjoy the games by having a subscription if you don’t like it uninstall it go to the next game instead of be -60 pounds. They were honest they said these are our consoles no upgrade is needed this generation, series s replaces the one s and the series x replaces the one x “pro from previous generation” I don’t know how to explain better.
ОтветитьSeries x digital gives me xbox one all dogital vibes lol
Ответитьuhm - you answered the question. Xbox has game pass and it's incredible.
ОтветитьI’m planning to buy a used Xbox Series S for my girlfriend and me. Prices range between €160 and €200, which I think is fair. I’m primarily a PC gamer and will continue playing AAA titles on my gaming PC, but I still want to enjoy some co-op games on the Xbox. Even though PC Game Pass exists, most co-op games just aren’t playable in co-op mode on PC.
ОтветитьIt's just ridiculously under promoted. The functionality of being able to play on virtually any screen in your household that can access the internet, via the Xbox app, is I suspect virtually unknown to many.
Xbox series S price cut and a dockable handheld with Series S level power would make them seriously competitive.
You are entirely correct, lack of competition is NEVER good for the consumer.
ОтветитьWhat is with Brits and Small things? Stop living in Small Boxes.
ОтветитьVGFightSchool be like: Xbox just released COD, PS is doomed. 😂
ОтветитьI knew Ps5 had a future when i sold 2 Ps5 consoles for 4 GRAND on launch day!! What a day!!
ОтветитьHere's what I'd do if given full authority and told that the next generation is Xbox's last chance. My approach is that Xbox doesn't need to be price competitive with Sony, it needs to provide good value fundamentally. If Nintendo charged 600 dollars for the Switch when it first launched, people would still buy it because you have to if you want to play Zelda, Mario and other exclusive games. Embrace the philosophy that consoles are just a way to get people to the Xbox storefront, indifferent to if people are on PC. Xbox as a simplified, accessible PC essentially. My priority is getting users onto the Xbox storefront, so games will be exclusive on it. I know rumours are 2027 PS6 launch, I'm going to wait until at least 2029 or 2030 because I need time for hardware and game development.
Hardware Strategy:
New philosophy, reduce subsidies for consoles and instead focus more on the moonshot projects. Focused on augmenting user experience and strong games line-up using the barbell strategy, tentpoles and moonshots/indies.
Portable: A cross between a switch and a windows phone, focused on potential for added modularity (e.g. webcam module, speaker module). Choice for those who like games on the go, knowing they'll be optimised for the specific spec unlike the variety of mobile CPUs out there currently.
Console: Modular design featuring a swappable GPU plug and play solution (a la Framework laptop) and potentially other modules. Focus on right to repair and open-source hardware for 3rd party module makers (also license out the design, losing money on consoles anyways)
Discs: A new proprietary disc hardware that has the full game on no internet required to encourage in-store sales and for those who want ownership forever. You can charge a premium compared to the digital store. Current discs don't have enough storage space for some games sadly with how much they've bloated. This is also helpful for those who don't have great internet, plug and play
Augmented Reality: AR glasses that offer the option for local streaming from console hardware (dealing with latency issue). Could use some of the old kinect technology given reduced in cost, partner with Meta?
Toys-To-Life: Bring back this for the tentpole franchises. Maybe have AR interactions or mobile, I'm sure there can be tailored uses depending on the game in question. Microsoft could help smaller studios as an OEM to deal with manufacturing and design to make studios orient around Microsoft first and others second considering better margins
Game Strategy:
Barbell strategy: Third party such as Ubisoft, EA and others will focus on the double to triple A space. Xbox's position allows them to take risks on the tentpole 'quad A' games as well as more moonshot projects.
3x new billion dollar titles. These are going to be the system sellers. A good chunk on time will be spent on worldbuilding in the background (kind of like the original Avatar), with adjacent release of books, comics, novels, anime, movie, tv etc. All 3 are going to be launch titles ready on Day 1. Pretty much a complete reset like how Halo helped the original Xbox sell. Traditional marketing doesn't work as much, focus on more organic content speaking for itself and becoming viral. In general, when people play major games, they are looking for an escape, so target the 3 major areas: fantasy/mythology/dream, futuristic and apocalyptic. A key concept is 'full circle', with accompanying games that interact with the main games on mobile and other formats. So for Fallout, imagine you could manage your base, dispatch your dwellers on expeditions, manage crafting from mobile. Honestly a billion dollars is not enough, but I'm not well versed on the financials. Controversial, but I don't think a 2027 launch is feasible. Ideally, we'd be waiting for a 2030 launch, with 1 year pre-production and 4 years development (considering the scale of the project). You'd have to ramp up hiring, but given current economic conditions...not a problem. Have a redeem code that lets you pick 1 of 3 in the launch bundle
1. Genshin style, similar anime fantasy aesthetic. Not BOTW because want increased character options for replayability, with even more focus on world exploration. Heavily invest in the co-op experience from the ground up, whether split screen or over the internet. Could remove gacha, or if it needs to stay have game pass offer benefits. Have things that encourage community such as co-op dungeons, trading and maybe unique generation. Maybe you have squad units that are randomly generated in the world, encouraging you to trade with others if the synergies don't work for you, or if you happen to not have enough of certain materials easily accessible. Could also allow multiple accounts in yourself with different world seeds and main characters, trade with yourself. There should only be a few dozen seeds that are variations of each other, no AI generated blank spots like Starfield.
2. New Halo (Space sci-fi). Imo the story is dead, leave the poor thing alone. Bungie wanted to end it with 3, start fresh. Leave COD to near-modern or historical, think zero-gravity combat like in Ender's Game, make use of the hardware to the fullest.
3. Post-apocalyptic/apocalypse game. Consider something literally like the concept of Solo-Levelling, with both a single-player campaign and a multiplayer MMO mode. Considering the current state of the world, escapism is growing in popularity. Think GTA but with a twist. The formula works, so use it
Depending on budget, you could have a sequel or DLC for each that builds on the fundamentals
Other Large Projects:
COD: To keep things fresh, have a 3 year release cycle. 1 modern, 1 historical. In the lifetime of the game, release a full game, 2 DLC 1 year apart, the first should focus simply on using the same tools to expand, e.g. more maps, story quests, characters etc., second one focuses more on new mechanics to augment the player experience, obviously still a blend of 2 in each. Ofc multi-player should reflect the character of the single-player. 1 title launches with console, 1 in mid-cycle (hypothetically 2030 and 2033)
Fallout: A Fallout MMO makes sense, but I would put this on hold. Focus on building up back goodwill by releasing Fallout 5 as a launch title. Fallout MMO could help revitalise during the mid-generation if things go to plan. So a 2030 launch for Fallout 5 and a 2032 launch for the MMO, 2031 and 2033 Major DLC for single-player
Not familiar with Elder Scrolls, Forza so I'm not going to comment
Xbox Game Labs:
Take the remaining money and invest in promising indie games, think under a couple of million maximum per project. Wacky ideas that can be released during the quiet times, even better if they use 'gimmick' features under AR, toys to life or something else
Game Pass Strategy:
The current economics make no sense to me and seemingly Microsoft. I'd revamp the system as follows:
Taster Tier: Games come one month after launch but stay only for a month and you only play a percentage of the game, you can buy the game to save your progress or lose it. Think of it like a tasting subscription you can get for coffee or perfume to find out what you like. Try before you buy at a subsidised rate, discount on buying the full game. Get people's foot in the door
Lurker Tier: Similar to current Xbox Game Pass, but no Day 1 launches or major current titles. This tier offers access to older titles (360, One era) as well as indie games. Could lump in access to exclusive discount events, multiplayer access etc.
Whale Tier: Similar to lurker tier but with some major titles, additional offline benefits, such as monthly merch boxes, access to studio tours, in-person events etc.
Have the price be cheaper if you use the plan exclusively on Xbox hardware, more expensive if you want PC as well
The main goal is that game-pass is bundling a bunch of less popular titles (from the mainstream perspective) at a lower price like a discount retailer. System sellers should not be on there, otherwise the price you'd have to charge would be too high to be attractive anyways.
I know some decisions won't be popular, but I'm approaching this from a the perspective of sustainable business. This is about rebuilding trust and setting up a new foundation. Also looking for a job in gaming, so what do I know? Xbox, Playstation, Nintendo...I'm open to an interview!
Xbox has no identity and isn’t interested in catering to their base any more. They are back to their usual song and dance of just chasing the profit, and console users who helped build them be damned. Satya and company have taken the reigns and are running Xbox gaming like it’s a new version of Windows. This is why most of their games are half baked soulless shells being mass produced and distributed to any screen they can muster. With games going everywhere, the only path I see forward from a hardware perspective is they would need to develop a hybrid system that allows gamepass, steam, epic, etc… That would be the only interesting value proposition they could offer in the console space to remain relevant. But given their current path, the name Xbox is well on its way to being phased out in my opinion.
ОтветитьPS5 more powerful?? That's a joke !! This channel as other just talk bad of Microsoft because are pay to do that
ОтветитьI still prefer my Series X over my PS5. I'm not interested in alot of Sonys Japanese 1st Party games and the amount of value i've gotten out of GamePass is unreal. Also being able to play 6th and 7th gen games with FPS boost and resolution bumps is great. Also quick resume is a proper next gen feature and I wish Sony had a PS5 version of it
Ответить“Idk why anyone would buy an Xbox”
Because I don’t like PlayStation.
WHY DOES NO ONE TALK ABOUT THE CONTROLLERS????? The PS controller is BAD. Xbox is worth alone for the controller. It is so much BETTER!!!
ОтветитьWouldn't be surprised if Microsoft decide to pull the plug on making consoles in the future.
More Xbox exclusives are being lined up for release on PS. Perhaps success for Microsoft lies is making multi platform games not hardwear.
Not being able to play Black myth wukong on either of the Xbox consoles is embarrassing.
The Xbox series s is only $249.99 USD and supports 120 fps and has 10g of Ram. The PS5 Slim costs $449.99-$489.99 USD support 120 fps and has 16g of ram. You’re essentially paying over $200 for 6g of ram. I’d say Xbox is clearly undercutting the slim. The Xbox series X digital also costs the same as the slim USD. Your prices where you live are very clearly different you should take that into account during your review.
ОтветитьBecause the studios are afraid of toxic masculinity and stepping on woke toes from within. Yet all male gamers crave masculine games desperately (nohomo) we want to feel brave, feel brotherhood and get the chick in the end.
ОтветитьXbox is finished.
Ответитьi mean is people still buying disk in 2024? i have an Xbox but im more of PC guy. And i love my GAME PASS better than that PLAYSTATION PLUS shit
ОтветитьYou are a bought person from Sony representing the sect. You bought poor soul.💀💀
ОтветитьDoesn't need a pro version why bring out a pro then bring another console later just go form one model to the next , I feel the games are a let down on Xbox put me off buying the pass tbh
ОтветитьWhat benefits do people get from owning a PlayStation other then 70 dollars single player game that nobody touch again after beating it
ОтветитьI have both. Xbox live is superior to PSN. Game pass is also superior. Its been 4 years. There's no need to compete. Get them both or pick what you like. Sony is gouging customers though. My series x is great. Quick resume is also superior and I prefer the Xbox controller for COD and dual shock for campaign games. They have pros and cons
ОтветитьNahh. for me. Xbox is practical gaming for me. than Playstation. nowadays
ОтветитьScrew it! Let's all just buy a 700 dollar console and a copy of Concord!😂😂😂
ОтветитьOr... It's that it's to late for Microsoft to do anything
ОтветитьMy pc with pc game pass ultimate is my xbox console and with steam deals its so cheap to game on pc.
a mid range pc makes a better xbox then the xbox series x.
wish dayz was cross platform..
ОтветитьIve always been a playstion gamer, and swore id never by an xbox...but i did, that new white one you featured, i bought it solely to play msfs...and to be honest im perfectly happy with it, its visuals are gorgeous and im having a fantastic experience, so ok its not cheap, but neither is a pc which was the only other option. So yes it has a long future in my household.
ОтветитьEnd of xbox ? Are you dumb ? 😂 there is no way to end. Go and get a job people like you doesn't even know what talkin
ОтветитьIt looks like a "community fibre" router!
ОтветитьMicrosoft should just focus on windows . Their phones didnt do well and now consoles and also surface laptops
ОтветитьOf course it's not the end of Xbox. They already stated they are working on a traditional next gen console. They make tons of money from gamepass, they put an X amount of money and get 5X in return from gamepass as far as I know. Series X is a fantastic device if you don't want to play games on PC for some reason. I have reasons so I don't for example. I have both consoles. Never used PS5 except for a few exclusives.
ОтветитьStill this false belief we need xbox to compete with PlayStation. The free market is never that simple. Some companies are just rotten, and keeping them in contention hurts everyone. When Sony starts copying M$ is when the gaming console market dies.
ОтветитьWhen all gaming consoles are PC's you need either price, catalogue, or performance/niche
ОтветитьClickbait in it's purest form this one 😂
Ответить
