This is my first time learning about US’s recruiters fee being significantly lower than my country’s. In my country it’s anywhere between 30-40%.

Thanks for the great detailed information on being a recruiter. Having a strong background (education & experience) in HR, Career Development and Force Management/Man power, I constantly receive dozens of job offers for recruiting. Too bad there’s no opportunity for job shadowing or internship to see the stress factors involved in being a recruiter, as well as the workload expectations, work environmental factors, and other nuisances associated w recruitment career fields.

Once you have a successful placement, when are you going to get paid for the commission?

So recruiter get candidates a permanent job? Or temporary?

Honestly, never had a good experience with a recruiter. A lot of them did not even know the industry they were hiring in, takes months for them to reply or worst they just ghost you. I have written lots of resumes and cover letters specific to the job but unless I speak with someone in the organization, my resume will not get noticed.

So this mean that recruiters who are working on comission can earn pretty good amount of money. Do you know what is the situation in Europe, is there a high demand for recruiters and is it done the same way as in US?
