This is a really fair coverage of ESFP.

Esfps do make fun parents. Not great at consistency (because time management is so hard) or discipline (because it is future focused and in the moment feels bad) unless they are mature. They try hard to discipline and then can go a bit overboard.
They also see themselves as counselors who know the truth. (That is, their truth.) That can be rut they get stuck in.

If they teach the physical world, they are genius at it. They show their joy with their students and it's wonderful.

I have an ISTJ friend who has wasted upwards of a decade chasing an ESFP who leads him around by the nose but NEVER delivers. Is there any way of getting through to him?

My esfp boyfriend is always very quick to go off on me for just about anything I say to him . I won't even be talking about him and he thinks I am. I really don't like that trait. It's super destructive.

ESFP'S would be good in sales , events not as bankers it would be too boring for them their also interested in being musicians they are the performers that type of work gives them the freedom which they seek . ESFP'S may have set backs whether it's a mental illness it doesn't last long they will have that spring to their steps right away . ESFP'S don't have that mindset of getting people back and ruining people's lives that is not true when they are under stress they pull back and retreat to being by themselves not manipulating people again do your research this is not what ESFP'S act like . I don't like all this "they want" talk. No one ever says that a very introverted person wants to be the most awkward and quiet person in the room who leaves the party first. Maybe ESTPs just are loud and colorful and look best dressed weird. Maybe on the Kibbe system they are the Flamboyant Gamine and Flamboyant Natural justshaking their large shoulders around and being told to wear awkardly hemmed clothing and crazy jewelry because that's what suits them. Maybe some people walk into a room inadvertantly shouting "lesbians" into a quiet restaurant full of uptight politicos and it's not because they want to, it's because someone asked them a question while they were walking in the door and they were striving to be polite. Maybe they walk itno the liquor store and the clerks swoon and say "There she is! There she is! " and put their brand of beer on sale without them even considering it as an option before their arrival. And, maybe people that want to date them should just suck it up and accept the fact that it is not a "want" it is just an "is". It happens. In my world, everyone gets hit on in the produce aisle, followed around in a mall, and makes friends with the band. Or, strives real hard not to just to make a more skittish person happy. Gee!

We had a teacher- that is in my son's classroom in 1st grade- who would play the guitar and sing with /to kids while they did their work and that helped him immensely!

I learned to do many technical things sometimes with a manual, sometmes seeing someone else do it or sometimes just because I was left alone and told to do it. Including playing musical instruments, cooking, working an IT department by myself and helping out a paralegal that I only came to give a message to. I had seen how to be a paralegal in a movie backed by trying to look up a law or two on my own when a court clerk was nearby to answer questions one day as I was walking past the courthouse in a different town.

I only say this really because figuring out my personality type has been a long journey and I like to leave myself trail markers in case I get lost again.

I have two male ESFP coworkers. One of them is very intelligent. Both loud. One of them I can’t stand because he’s super duper loud and not that intelligent. I can hear him from a few offices down. I asked another coworker to sit next to me in our meetings so that this ESFP wouldn’t sit next to me anymore 🙂. My second ex husband is an ESFP, he wasn’t loud though. Also isn’t American. He dropped out of high school, had the mind of a puddle, but had lots of skills and was very kind and humble. He wasn’t loyal to me, he was loyal to what he wanted. He told me he was thinking of moving to another state, I told him I’m not coming with him. He was like “why?” I said “because you’re not even here now. I’m not going to abandon my son to follow you and you don’t even spend time with me.” He knew he wasn’t a good husband to me. But we are still friendly with one another. But I unfriended him because it just doesn’t matter, we have nothing to talk about beyond surface level conversation. I care about him still. And I know he cares about me. But we’re not compatible. I did call him out on how he said he wanted to be world champion and I told him “yet you smoke, you eat like shit, etc” and he was like, “you’re right. So he quit smoking for 6 months and ate healthier. And he told me his lung capacity improved, which improves his performance. I also told him how I felt and he would change for 1-2 weeks, then go back to neglecting me. So, I got more and more frustrated. When I stopped giving to him, our relationship fell apart, I was holding us up 90% of the relationship. Had we not been married I would have thrown in the towel sooner.

My uncle is an ESFP, he was a salesman and is married to an ISFJ (childhood sweethearts). The last family party I attended at his house he offered me a drink, I asked for water, he said “you’re easy.” And I said “that’s what all the boys say.” Obviously I was joking, my cousin laughed, but my uncle looked at me like whaaaat. Lol

I don’t know, to me it seems like ESFPs happen to thrive in these lively settings, unlike ESFJs though, they aren’t constantly evolving their behaviour to match the objective feeling or emotion in the environment. They’re super experience oriented and quite possibly some of the least practical sensors, although practicality and s type is a debunked stereotype lol. In all honesty esfps might be one of the more challenging types for me to grasp. Many of the esfp content creators and characters and friends I have are almost impossible to reach on a true emotional level. It seems like they’d be Fe users but once you dive into it they’re just like the total opposite lmao

I just recently took a guy's test through cs joseph personality test.. his result came out as esfp.. he told me these are barnum statements.. yet I know that what Chase said was applicable to him..

Am only now in a place to realize Im most likely an ESFP. It makes sense given my past and recent personal growth. Im intellectual in a very applied way and I guess I always gave that more weight than I should have in terms of my ego, but in practice its still really strong. The biggest issue I have is that my Ni is something Im having to protect against and it makes it so hard to take on bigger challenges with confidence Im doing the right thing as I usually miss super obvious things.

A lot of success for me looks like embracing the short term and doing things where success is subjective.
