we know the mormon church owns literal tv studios and programs (like studio c) specifically to spread themselves so propping up people on social media seems very on brand and like a no brainer.
ОтветитьI am an atheist single man in my early 20s, never been interested in any religion at all, both countries I've ever lived in have little to no Mormon presence and I still get LDS advertisements on my Instagram every week. It's crazy.
ОтветитьHello hello! I'm late to the party. I just discovered you about two weeks ago. Going back and watching all your videos. I'm an atheist and have been for many years. Not raised Mormon, but have a lot of family that belong to the church. My older sister and two of her four children have left the church. It's so interesting to hear you speak about all things Mormon. I've learned a lot about the church over the years. I have met with missionaries several times. I even became friends with one of the sister missionaries who I used to meet with in college. I find myself wanting to tell you all the things I know and have seen over the years being exposed as you tell your stories. Your delivery of this content really makes me feel like I'm listening to a friend. So, great job! ❤ Anywho, I came on here to say that when I went to at The Book of Mormon musical there was a full page add for the church in the playbill. Blew my mind! I have a feeling they didn't correctly judge the audience there 🤣
Ps - I have gotten multiple ads for the church while watching your videos. Keep getting your tithe money back!!! 🥰
this theory also means that the church gets to funnel a lot of that money right back to mormons = more tithing paid. its a great example of the church rewarding its most "faithful" members (this doesnt always align with following scripture perfectly, i mean this in you are rewarded for making the church look good)
Ответить💜
ОтветитьI have never gotten any mormon ads, must be because Google senses that I live in Stockholm, Sweden which is one of the most atheistic places in the world. I have never even met a religious person and Google probably knows that it isn't even worth traying to convert me. 😂
ОтветитьPromoting a religion/cult is so diabolical
Ответитьsooo basically this influencer image of a rich stay at home mom with 3+ kids is subsidized by the mormon church. diabolical.
ОтветитьPatriarchal exploitation and manipulation: mouthpieces for their authoritarian world view; expression of condescending righteousness mutually reinforcing.
ОтветитьAhhh that’s why some of them move? To a higher paying state? 🤯 Also, I do remember that Taza (former mommy blogger) had a section of ‘believe’ or something like that on her blog with info from the church
ОтветитьThe algorithm breakdown was very interesting and insightful 👌. Myself I love learning about (nerding out on) affordable makeup and indie brands, religious deconstructing, and all things gay shit ❤. So, basically, the only adds that I ever see are from high-end or celebrity beauty brands and Prager U!?
ОтветитьOne reason would be primary the men work in the Mormon relationships giving them women have more time to piss around on social platforms.
Reason most of the Mormon influencers are coming out of Utah is because a quarter of salt Lake city Utah is Mormon.
And probably Mormon parents tell their kids that they're only allowed to watch stuff Mormon.
Most people don't journal
ОтветитьI've just recently (last month) started watching your content, and coincidentally I've also just started to get ads for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. hmmmm....
edit: this is to say I'm pretty certain the church is in fact sponsoring any content with the keyword "Mormon"
So you're saying that if I started shooting 'Mormon-inspired' content for my OF (spicy content) that the Mormon church would most likely sponsor it? Maybe even comp me some magical undergarments for the models? Sign me up!
ОтветитьThere was an ad break in the middle of your sentence about ads for the church…… and it was an actual ad for the church . 😂 10/10 comedic timing
ОтветитьVery interesting
ОтветитьThat ad spending is insane..😮
ОтветитьI believe your research. You brought receipts! Its not you that's crazy it's the Church.
ОтветитьHow much do you think you're getting paid by the Church????😂
ОтветитьI love❤ how you say, "and if you've made it this far" or "if you're still listening".
Hun! I can go long. I can watch unedited or the "directors cut" of your videos.
Long form for us all! 😊
It makes me want to Google your name and Mormon. Or LDS. Just for the current members to funnel your videos.!! Im doing it now !
ОтветитьHoly shit, what an expose. I hope a LOT of people watch this
Ответитьcould these women be lonely? And they take to the internet for comfort. (I don't know how isolating being a Mormon wife is,so maybe i'm wrong)
ОтветитьThis is WILD. Not only do I fully believe you, but am now also quite worried about the influence of the mormon church on world politics. Especially now we've seen figures like Elon come into power cause of the amount of money they invested. Are they funding any political campaigns?! 💀
ОтветитьCoincidentally my bank is Morgan Grenfell.
ОтветитьI like your crazy
ОтветитьAlyssa! Thanks for your content! I hope you know that you are making my life better by sharing these videos! I feel less alone and more understood because of your channel!
ОтветитьThis is some Sherlock Holmes level detective work—Well done. 🕵🏼♀️
ОтветитьThe amount of financial and investing ads I got on this video only shows how the keyword mechanisms work
ОтветитьWow! Such a good theory! I believe it! I'm not even Mormon, but I now want to move to Utah to become an influencer!😂
ОтветитьDoes skipping the adverts decrease the revenue for the creators?
ОтветитьThey have alot of time and or crave a kind of job/ hobby. Due to the traditional gender roles.
Ответить📽️👍🪅🤩
ОтветитьGreat video! It makes total sense. I remember watching commercials on TV about the BOM a long time ago.
ОтветитьSo you made a bunch if cash telling us all of the things you know about banks ...and youre raking it in talking about Mormon churches...good for you. Get it girl. Youre not going to ve wishing the Mormon church lose too many followers too fast though, huh? Ya know .. because its paying you so well. Lol
ОтветитьI also get lots of Mormon influencers on my feed because i watch you ...if i were more susceptible and did t understand why it was happening you may have converted me to mornonism
ОтветитьOmg I am so disappointed that the beeston family is on this list. I just love their little family but not sure I can support this.
ОтветитьYou breaking down the ad revenue is so awesome, thank you for doing that. It is so important to see how money is really the point behind so much of this, and I had to seek this video out on my own account, because I am a designer who understands marketing. So many people do not understand the ins and outs of how stuff like this works. I love your videos, my wife and I watch them all the time. I constantly agree with you, and we both point out how needed this clarity is. Again, thank you for sharing your story and so much more!
ОтветитьThe bucket list family is Mormon!?
Ответить❤
ОтветитьThey could cure world hunger instead. It sickens me.
ОтветитьI finished watching this video just now, opened reels, and bam! there was Nara Smith. that can't be a coincidence
ОтветитьWhen I grow up I want to be a Mormon influencer
ОтветитьHope you get some of it too :)
