AB 814: Adrian Sanchez testifies in committee

Andrian Sanchez of Greenlining Institute testifies in the Assembly Human Services Community on April 16th in support of AB 814 (Bradford), which will eliminate the attendance penalty for CalWORKs, thereby relieving this financial burden and helping families to achieve self-sufficiency. The bill also address the problem of youth unemployment by requiring counties to assist students who have dropped out of school to obtain academic certificates, degree completion, and career planning.
