Does anyone know where this scene was shot? What prison, in what city???
ОтветитьSomething about tough guys begging for something that means something...never gets old.
ОтветитьGreat. Movie
ОтветитьOne director described Cobb as less an actor and more of a force of nature
ОтветитьIn control crazy
ОтветитьCompliment: Frank told me you were the best man in his unit.
Compliment deflected with max effect: Frank was the best man in anybody's unit.
love it!
This movie give forgotten people and soldiers. This forgotten soldiers rescue forgotten soldiers left behind in wars. When government dont want to rescue them.
ОтветитьOut side of Cowboy actors Gene is my favorite of all time.
ОтветитьUhh, did he just say "don't worry, he can't see you. It's a two-way mirror."?
lol
Remember back during the Cold War when Patriotic movies were our normal and pride in America our everyday? Now we have a president* who is owned by communists...
ОтветитьBut you know in real life you never would have been offered the job too far gone. No discipline no self-control
ОтветитьEverybody loves Randall Tex Cobb anti hero
ОтветитьTex Cobb handled the fights and the action well in all his films, but the man could act. Here you see a broken troubled man asking for a shot a redemption.
ОтветитьFilmed at the old abandoned jailhouse in Lincoln Heights, Los Angeles.
ОтветитьNever heard of it
ОтветитьStraight anti Vietnam propoganda
ОтветитьThis movie is so underrated. My favorite movie as a kid.
ОтветитьAgain, gotta say it. The real Gene hackman had a nephew that fought in Vietnam. Guy came back with PTSD. He had a personal connection to this film.
ОтветитьOld county jail
ОтветитьSailor=John Milius’s alter ego
ОтветитьHey, Isn’t that Ben Dover from Fletch?
ОтветитьThis film i used to watch as a kid then go out in the field with the lads re-enacting the film :-)
ОтветитьI remember watching this on TBS back in the 90s. Its a good movie. I bought a copy on Amazon.
ОтветитьBig Randall Texas Cobb !!
ОтветитьTex !!
ОтветитьGreat actor
ОтветитьI remember when he boxed and then boxed
ОтветитьKickboxing!
ОтветитьHackman is my favorite actor followed by Harrison Ford n Tommy Lee Jones
ОтветитьRaising Arizona and ace Ventura pet detective.
ОтветитьI want to be as crazy as he is. At least he got results done.
Ответитьooooh...feeling so nostalgic 😢....my daddy loved this film back in the days 🥲🥲💗💓💕💕💗💗.....I miss my childhood...
ОтветитьBeautiful
ОтветитьI eat energy from the air.....i talk to polar bears, I converse with parmesians, man I f*ck nuclear waste! 💪😎
One of the best movies. My dad's all time favorite.
“You gotta give me a shot, man. You gotta.”
ОтветитьAll....my heroes are dead.
ОтветитьSo a small unit will take down hundreds of NVA very well trained soldiers. I know Rambo, Chuck Norris, imagine the reaction of the Vietnamese people watching those movies!. Can't defeat the Vietcong peasants guerrilla much less the NVA professional soldiers !
ОтветитьLove sailor "When life gets too much , just pull the pin"
ОтветитьTex Cobb AKA Sailor, played the part of a stereotypical Vietnam veteran that the general public thought of during the post Vietnam war years. In reality, a majority of Vietnam veterans adjusted to civilian life, used the GI Bill, raised families and lived normal lives.
Ответитьtex Cobb best boxer turned actor ever
ОтветитьWhat the hell happened to you? 😂😂😂
ОтветитьRIP Mr Hackman.
ОтветитьI was 13 when this came out of theaters in a tiny island in P.I. This brought back a memory that I never thought I would still remember. As a kid coming out of the movie theater feeling sad, elated, heroic and inspired at the same time! Didn't even know Gene Hackman was in it. As kids we dgaf or much of a choice who's starring since my Dad just took us to watch this. I'm so glad I did though coz now I'm going to watch it again. RiP Gene and family😢
ОтветитьWould they let a guy just visit with an inmate IN THE PRISON YARD?
ОтветитьR.I.P To a Great Actor Gene Hackman,You Will Be Missed 😢
ОтветитьTex actually did martial arts and kickboxing before he did boxing, so that wasn’t his first kick
ОтветитьKarate
ОтветитьFor some reason this scene was stuck in my head today while at work and I haven't watched this movie in 20 years.
Gene Hackman's character was no-nonsense about the mission and he did an excellent job here.
