Again, gotta say it. The real Gene hackman had a nephew that fought in Vietnam. Guy came back with PTSD. He had a personal connection to this film.

I was 13 when this came out of theaters in a tiny island in P.I. This brought back a memory that I never thought I would still remember. As a kid coming out of the movie theater feeling sad, elated, heroic and inspired at the same time! Didn't even know Gene Hackman was in it. As kids we dgaf or much of a choice who's starring since my Dad just took us to watch this. I'm so glad I did though coz now I'm going to watch it again. RiP Gene and family😢
