yea so i mean my brother died when he had a seizure in a lake and drowned. He was out w his then-gf (now wife) and her brother. dude was lifeguard trained and resuscitated him. Ambulance arrived, they called us, my mom makes a three hour drive to go see him in the hospital, find out he has epilepsy (last time he had a grand mal seizure was in the womb so no one really expected this). For a long time he didn't talk abt it, but one day me and him were talking and i asked him why he started worshipping norse gods when he had been a christian all his life. He told me that when he died, he saw nothing. he said there was no sensation, no light, no anything. He got revived and decided that there may be something out there, but the christian god wasn't it.

As a christian, these people suck. They use the lords name in vain for views and claim to be christian and use fear tactics like "if you do this you commited the unforgivable sin!!1!11!" To manipulate unaware people.

It's always the same message: Jesus(God) died for you and all your sins, but if you don't stop sinning forever and never sin again then you're going to hell. Even if you have an addiction or a mental illness.

I'm literally in major depression and have severe anxiety every day making sure I don't even think a bad thought. It's insane. It makes you lose hope in going to Heaven. If Salvation is all by the Mercy of Jesus, but if you don't WORK to never sin again, then are you saved by works a little bit?

Is it like 50% works and 50% mercy or like 10% works?
