Lionel Hampton Jazz Festival 2017 Documentary

As the 2018 festival comes to an end, I present to you the Lionel Hampton Jazz Festival 2017 Documentary!! Featuring many of my best friends!!

The annual Idaho trip with W.L. Seaton Secondary School's Jazz Bands and Choirs has changed my life in many ways, for 5 consecutive years. I specifically remember the moment in grade 10, while watching the festival big band play, that I decided I wanted to pursue music as a career.

I am so thankful to the school and to Geoff Dolman and Lana O'Brien for making these trips happen. Thank you to my family for supporting me in going that many times. HUGE SHOUTOUT to Calli Heikkila for the inspiration for the documentary. In the few previous trips Calli could be seen recording people on the bus and throughout Moscow, Idaho. I saw just how rewarding it was to document the funnest trip ever, so I thought I'd carry on the tradition after Calli graduated.

I wanted to make it an even bigger production this time. Thankfully, Aidan Andrews of Daysormay decided to join us on our grade 12 trip, so I asked him to help me. This would not have been possible without the video mastery that is febnuki. Thank you x1000.
