ОтветитьThanks so much for this Terri...Great video 😊👍🏻
ОтветитьFantastic video thanks!
I will definitely be trying this as you explain it so simply.🦋
Thank you so much, Danu, this is a beautiful video and I've often wondered about Mead but never knew how to make it. My garden looks a lot like yours, so beautiful! From Colorado, USA
ОтветитьHow peaceful and lovely. Thank you for sharing. I always smile and give thanks at the mention of red clover. Such an unassuming little flower, yet such a powerhouse. I have a friend who attributes its tincture in part to his healing from stage 4 inoperable bowel cancer. Happy Lughnasadh!
ОтветитьAnother beautiful video. Thank you so much! I've been making mead for years now, with wonderful mesquite honey from the desert and flavored with organic strawberries. It is divine. But I can't wait to try rose mead! Peace be with you friend.
ОтветитьNever knew it was so easy. My friend used to make dandelion mead.
Ответить💖 lovely! I am going to make lavender, rosemary, and lemon mead. I’m excited: )
ОтветитьIt’s Sunday! Let’s go to Terri and Lol’s place and see what’s going on. I love following you around in your sunny garden as you gather herbs, and tell us about them. And then you invite us to see what the latest project is, and speak to us in your warm intimate way, as if we are all old friends. And then we take a moment to drink in our surroundings, (the dogs and cats and sometimes the chickens, and all the plant folk who live there), while Lol’s wonderful music plays in the background. It’s a little bit of heaven. I so appreciate your beautiful little films.
Ответитьthank you as always
ОтветитьWhat a joy to the eye and a treat for the senses Terri…such an abundance of beauty you are surrounded by! Thanks for your simple recipe and I will definitely try this 🌞🌹🍯
Ответитьlove the cat!

ОтветитьEnjoyable once again 👏
ОтветитьOh ! Thankyou for sharing this recipe . We love mead . 💜
ОтветитьThank you for share dear sister..much love 🤗💖😘🙏
ОтветитьI can't wait to try this Terry, Thank you for sharing. I want to try the mugwort and wormwood from your last video, my husband likes that it has a strong taste to it like you say in your video. :) Well I do have roses, and I have been playing with making my "Garden Tea" which is just dried Chamomile, Mint, Lemon Balm, Honey Suckle, and Rose Petals. Maybe I can use some of the dried "Garden Tea" Mix to make a batch. I will let you know! Sending love from California always every SUNDAY!
ОтветитьThis is amazing!!
ОтветитьHello Terri, loved the video! Wish I had more roses!, but so much other herbs are doing well here now. Also enjoying the antics of some new hawks on the property, not so much appreciated by my neighbors chickens, but so far, everyone is behaving well. Enjoy the beautiful days, much the same across the pond.
Ответитьgreat video Terri
ОтветитьLovely! My roses are spent, but I think my daughter still has some ... I do Jane honeysuckle - love that idea!
I did elder flower last year from your tutor, and one of my Yomogi - Japanese mugwort - loved both!
Pure magic…a gift from Mother Nature! Thank you for these instructions Terri🥰. Carol xx
ОтветитьI have to agree about this being a year for roses! My rose bush was overflowing this year.
ОтветитьMy gosh that is so easy - going to be making that when the weather warms up - thank you Terri xxx
ОтветитьThanks for sharing your wonderful gardens, puppies & mead making! My rose bush isn’t doing a lot yet but summer has only begun here in Alberta, Canada. I intend to try this recipe! Many blessings to your family 🤗❤️🇨🇦
ОтветитьI’ve never tried making mead, but this looks so lovely and easy: I’ll be trying this in a few weeks! Thank you for this recipe!
ОтветитьThanks for sharing, I'm going to give it a go, you make it look easy. ❤🏴
ОтветитьIs there an alternative to the honey please?
ОтветитьSo grateful for a wise Elderess ❦ so beautiful in your amber jewelry & striped shirt in the sunshine! ❦
ОтветитьThe video of the honey pouring into the jar was so fun. Thanks for that shot. I have a question, how do you test the fermentation after 10 days? Do you taste it or does it look a certain way?
ОтветитьI had to make the rose mead straight away! It's been 7 days now, do you think I should strain it?
ОтветитьI just put my mead in a bottle with the connected stopper top bottle like you have in your other mead video. It is lovely and sweet with a hint of roses. The next one I make I want to use lavender which is another herb I love, I will even eat lavender ice cream occasionally from the specialty ice cream shop. What a great ongoing project to go with my sourdough baking. The other videos I was watching on making mead made the process much more complicated this is very simple and works well and I really love the custom of putting mugwort on top too.
ОтветитьI made the rose mead and there is muddy froth with a ting of darker I think I made have added too much yeast or is this normal.
ОтветитьI hear you all have been experiencing some of the heat we have every summer here in the Deep South of the US. I hope you are staying cool. Autumn cannot come soon enough!
ОтветитьReally enjoyed that. thankyou . Lovely to see your garden in Ireland. Xxxx
Ответитьthank you for the video! I made my first batch but I haven’t thought out how to strain it and everything online shows fancy equipment lol, any suggestions? hope you had a lovely lughnasadh :)
ОтветитьIreland is blessed by not being given ROUNDUP which kills bees.
God bless you for caring for us.
I never heard about mead, now I'll really try to make it.I don't have roses in my garden but hundreds of other flowers. Can I use a mix of different flowers?
Ответить🍷🌹🌹🌹🍷What A Very Special Recipe!! I made this for the first time and it is absolutely delicious! It has such a Beautiful and elegant Flavor! I didn't use any yeast, just relied on the natural yeast for fermentation, which worked perfectly! The Mead has a Flavor that preserves the flavor of the Rose So Wonderfully! Thank You for this Gorgeous and healthy recipe, which was incredibly easy! I believe I will be making this the rest of my life! I have always Loved Roses and Made Rose Everything so this was a very welcome edition to my repertoire, but don't worry,I won't be afraid to experiment being as I have a lot of choices in the garden,so thank you for those tid bits of ideas as well! I Look forward to serving this to friends, family and at special occasions to come!🌿🦋🌱
ОтветитьI am pagan and I would love you to talk more about your spirituality in relationship to the herbs and garden you work in
ОтветитьIs white clover and red clover the same? I have the white in my yard and would love to use it. Thank you
ОтветитьI'm making both a rose and a mint meads. Cant wait tio try them.
ОтветитьI never thought making mead was that simple to make. Thanks
ОтветитьI hardly ever see red clover outside anymore, except in areas they spray for sure. But when I was a kid, I lived in more of a suburban type area in a valley and when I was like 7 I remember that we used to tell each other to pick the red clover and suck on the stem because it was supposed to taste like honey and we would do that. I don't have a clue who told me that, probably school or something.
ОтветитьI'm excited! I'm going to pick up ingredients to make my very first Mead hopefully this Saturday! Not going to use Rose, I want to make like a Spiced Chai Mead with Ceylon Cinnamon, Clove, Allspice, Black Pepper, Cardamom, and Ginger. Should I use dried ginger, or would fresh ginger work for this? I'm going to make a second Mead alongside it, but am still trying to decide which herb to use. Might end up being Rosemary or Rose Hips, or something else, I am not sure yet. Question -- I don't have access to Mugwort. You stated its a tradition to add to the top to protect it. Could I use fresh sprigs of Rosemary for that purpose?
ОтветитьNever heard of mead… I’ll have to make some thank you. Is it kinda like a kombucha? And it’s benefits? Thank you 🙏
ОтветитьLovely thank you Terri 😊
