Dude! Japanese philosophy about let it be is also come from Chinese Taoism. Go to do some research. Taoism advocate that let things happen naturally and let the nature rules. Of course the philosophy is not as simple as I wrote here.

U are talking about Japanese philosophy as if u are using Belgium to talking about the glorious Of Roman empire. U actually know nothing about the core roots Of where this philosophy came from and just grab the most peripheral culture. LOL
Westerner are laughable when u trying to talk about eastern things. They are like kindergarten kid trying to talk about quantum physics. LOL

"suffering is an inevitable part of existance, more specifically suffering arises out of the tension between our desire and the nature of reality, we desire things like permanence perfection and certainty, but the universe which we are inextricably a part of is in constant flux subject to a process of change, trancience, and imperfection"

It’s ironic because Japan has now taken up a huge culture of skincare, perfectionism, and fully covering yourself from the sun.

Japanese Tea Ceremony contains the whole philosophy of Wabi-Sabi. In autumn season we put the broken flower vase on the Tokonoma in the Chashitsu room.

The funny thing is that Japan is now a perfection society in many ways. Fruits and vegetables need to be perfect and not deformities or have scars, wrapping is very neatly done, usually resulting in over wrapping, and there are very strict rules about your appearance at schools and work. My life would've been easier if people accepted more imperfections and differences,,,, and the fruits wouldn't have been so expensive!!!! lol

I wish that the shallow interpretation of accepting things as they are in aesthetics never existed because aesthetics go much deeper than that and it confuses the normal person to understand what this entire thing is all about. I have no clue how to fix it and I have no idea how to erase that thought in my mind because it seems to be a virus.

Ideas in the video:

Wabi-sabi: beauty and virtue is found in the impermanent, imperfect and incomplete.

Instead of contending with the reality make peace with it.

One thought ruins my happiness every time is thinking about suffering hungry stress animals and how people are so cruel to them, I don't know how to deal with it, when I eat a good meal I think they might be hungry. I do my best feeding them and give them medical care from time to time but that is never enough, not even close and bad people fight me removing the water bowls I put for them and even poison them sometimes 😢 and no laws to protect the poor animals from them, I wish I know how to be happy with this 💔
