In hindsight, this movie was trying so hard to be The Matrix lol. It even had robots.

The CGI in 00's is much better than Today's worst CGI. This movie is accurately based on a video game Tomb raider. Angelina jolie nailed this role. Hollywood used to be so legendary and fearless back in 1990's-00's they literally mentioned Illuminati without any problem but now I bet they can't even use this word anymore lol. Miss this Hollywood era.

That line 'absolutely' made me fallen for her years ago. Imo Jolie's Lara is the best and she was more fit compared to the game than Vikander. The voice are more deeper.

Watched it for the second time around a couple of days ago and I gotta say... it was pretty good. I wasn't always a fan of the acting but the action scenes made up for it. It was really enjoyable seeing Angelina as Lara, to me she is and will always be the one and only Lara Croft. I just find it sad that no more movies came out of it. I've never played Tomb Raider games as well so I can't say if there's any link to the games. I believe that she would've made this an awesome franchise. So this movie definently deserves its place in my "Gamerverse", cinematic universe around movies about video games.

Btw, this trailer... terrible... absolutely terrible!

I know I'm old when I see movies like this are considered classics.

Wow. After learning the truth of the world it’s so obvious how much brainwashing is injected in this trailer. Doubling up on specific words so it sticks in your mind, the flashing lights and jumpy music to suck you in. Numerous triangles and eyes everywhere. “Born into wealth” “the future is yours Lara, the all seeing eye” “groomed by the elite” how can people see this and not think we’ve been brainwashed over the years it’s so obvious 😂

Well I was interested in watch this… now I think I’m fine to skip it
