Me watching these videos knowing I can’t afford to go to out of state college
ОтветитьThe cobble stone got me. I’ll never forget Princeton campus
ОтветитьPa schools seeing my 91%. 🗣️ that’s a B+!
ОтветитьWhat's wrong with his face???
Ответитьnot that bad
ОтветитьI always put Princeton as the most prestigious Ivy 😭
ОтветитьGrade deflation was the real shots fired.
Ответитьgrade deflation??? i have not experienced this at all, this might be department specific. there’s still a running reputation of grade inflation in my dept
ОтветитьI got a 96% in one of my courses at Harvard and got a B+, so it’s not all grade inflated courses. Others, however…definitely inflated lol
ОтветитьI’ve been to the Princeton’s campus multiple times… the campus is beautiful and yes there’s not much to do outside of the school except the giant fountains but it’s a beautiful cozy place to live
ОтветитьL video tho I travel to Princeton frequently and I think saying it has nothing to do is a huge understatement. If you walk around the actual city of Princeton in Nj you are only going to see collage kids. That have fun at restraunts ice cream places and so much more so yeah maybe do a bit of research before talking about Princeton and also screw the part where you say Princeton is a suburb again if you did any research what so ever you would see that Princetons campus is probally the best looking campus of the Ivy League schools to walk around and picnic at.
Ответитьmy name is Princeton❤😊😊
ОтветитьI am crying but I am learning.
ОтветитьAs a high schooler who can bike to Princeton uni, it is awesome, but the expensive nature just makes it insane 😅
ОтветитьA huge percent of Princeton students are funnelled out of an extremely pretentious and wealthy private school in my area (about 10 minutes away from Princeton) who all look down upon/are legitimately afraid of students at the public school in the same town (where I attended). As a result, my mid public high school has a reputation at Princeton University.
Once back in HS, my friend was at a café in Princeton doing his Sociology homework and the waiter excitedly said "Oh, are you also a student at Princeton?? What's your major? I have the same sociology textbook for my class :))" and this 17 year old had to look him in the eye and said "I'm a D- student at [local public high school]. This is the textbook for my sociology elective."
He looked like he wanted to ki11 himself lmfao

ОтветитьThese videos are really good!😅👍🏾 There was a time that I was bitter about not getting into Columbia. However, my bank account says it was that I should be grateful for that rejection.😩🏛️💸 I think there is STILL this idea that a particular school is one's guaranteed ticket to success! Keep the videos coming. I subscribed!👍🏾
ОтветитьWhat to do in Princeton on the weekends: Go to Philadelphia or NY, will take about 2 hours on train
ОтветитьMy 10th grade chem teacher was from Ocean City NJ and than went to Princeton for her undergrad she was extremely smart and passionate now she finished teaching after 15 years and is part of Harvard’s faculty
Ответитьsounds like my school 😅
ОтветитьI think I like it?
Ответитьwhen i was little i thought the eating clubs were mess halls or smth until we went to reunions and i realized it’s a magical world with unlimited lemonade (or as my dad puts it: “a mansion where teenagers get to run around acting like aristocrats”)
ОтветитьSo Sheldon was just being unkind to Leonard?
ОтветитьMake one on iit
Ответитьgrade deflation is really bad for umich and cal engineering and math - they're arguably harder than the ivies in that regard
ОтветитьI grew up a townie here, got into Princeton but went to Yale instead. Princeton students have to live on campus all four years and their social lives really revolve around the on-campus eating clubs, even if you aren't in one. I know grads who never walked past Nassau Street in all four years!
ОтветитьMIT: hold my beer
ОтветитьPrinceton seems great to me
ОтветитьFacts
Ответитьbro what do you mean theres nothing to do outide of the colloge i live on the border of princeton and its covered in by many shops, many resteraunts, and other random ass activities if your into that but its always crowded and the grade deflation aint that accurate, also theres lots of beautiful nature
ОтветитьI live their lol your right by Nassau st
ОтветитьI’ve lived in Colorado, California and many other places. Princeton has more access to trailheads and public preserved land than anywhere I’ve lived. It’s a beautiful area
ОтветитьI live 8 minutes from Princeton and we are NOT suburbs we are big city ٩(╬ఠ༬ఠ)و
ОтветитьI live down the road from here
Ответитьi live in princeton and there is A LOT to do around there. palmer square is an amazing place to go us to hang out and there’s many MANY restauarants by campus. not to mention princeton has one of the most beautiful campuses out there.
Ответитьprinceton is adorable with lots of cute shops and restaurants but it’s definitely not known for its college student friendly activities
ОтветитьI studied here. Many very smart people. Many however lack common sense and are a bit entitled.
ОтветитьPrinceton is the epitome of elitism… who has a Rolex store in a small town?? And some bubble tea stores are more expensive than Manhattan🙄🙄 and ppl living there can’t be more sheltered🙄🙄
ОтветитьI will say, my professors I help will always listen and help those students to succeed. And I don’t like to deal in absolutes. That’s not always every department
ОтветитьPrinceton has so many legacy students 💩. Aslo so many Chinese students for 💰. It's easy to get in now.
ОтветитьThats probably why my latin reacher who taught at princeton loves to make everything hard with a reason
ОтветитьI grew up 20 minutes outside princeton, literally just bowling and movie theater for fun lmfao there aint shit here
ОтветитьPrinceton is a beautiful small town I live here for 50 years, worked for Princeton University for 43 years
Ответитьyoure forgetting that the eating clubs are 35k a year
ОтветитьI did grounds keeping at Princeton for a summer, and trust me. Everything on and around campus is nature. The number of flower beds we needed to water daily was insane.
ОтветитьI live in the city Princeton. I’m pretty sure that college isn’t that hard.
ОтветитьDefinitely don't underestimate the grade deflation...
ОтветитьThe Poison Ivy League
Ответитьtheres a ton of stuff to do there??????
