I watched every week to see Ricky and James burton. This is a great band. Great rendition. Sad that he died.
ОтветитьWe believe everything good thing about you. Real talent.
ОтветитьI was fortunate to see Rick perform in a small club in San Luis Obispo just a few months before he died. Great performer. Beautiful man.

ОтветитьWhat a great band and Ricky was as good as you get ! Humble brilliant songwriter . Much loved and still loved . I'm glad his family carried on as great musicians in their own right !
👍❤️🎸🎼🎼🥁🎹
Rick could rock like no other!!! Sooooo much fun to watch on TV, but attending his concerts were amazing! Great memories y'all!
ОтветитьSo much talent that came to an end too soon. I feel that Rickey's talents were unappreciated.
ОтветитьRicky would have made a great Traveling Wilbury...
ОтветитьI Love Rick Nelson 💓

ОтветитьRuined by that lead guitarist!
ОтветитьTonight show or Letterman 1981?
ОтветитьThis was fabulous! Love it! What an amazing band the SCB was! Amazingly talented! All of them! ♥️🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼
ОтветитьHe found his real calling.
ОтветитьStill a great looking guy, and a rock star. Loved him and his music.
ОтветитьHe was an amazing performer and drop dead gorgeous.
ОтветитьAlright. Rick. !!!!
ОтветитьIs that the King of The Rock-A-Billy guitar, Mr James Burton ???? ------------methinks it is ! From '58, this is rock & roll !
ОтветитьHe was shy but like many performers transforms to stage presence. It’s true David was the outgoing one. He life was not the idyllic scene portrayed on Ozzie & Harriet. They were real people with real problems. They were a close knit family. Sam, Rick‘a youngest commented that he wished his Uncle Dave took more interest in being there for him after Rick’s death.
ОтветитьWe miss you, Ricky (Rick). 37 years, and you left us far too soon. The music business could sorely use you right now.
ОтветитьDavid Letterman 1981
ОтветитьWOW
ОтветитьDamn that was good!
ОтветитьVery very nice
ОтветитьClassic Rock-A-Billy ! --------Rick Nelson RIP.
ОтветитьSo rude of those regular Tonight Show band members to sit there looking like they hate the music being played. They should have gone backstage for this song. Stuck up assh*les.
ОтветитьThis, boys and girls, is rock and roll.
Ответитьno words to describe him and all his band just sensational stillbtoday
ОтветитьI love listening to this song by Ricky Nelson called “Believe What You Say” performed live in 1981!
ОтветитьHave never seen this! Loved Ricky!
ОтветитьNo one like James Burton, the original lead guitar on this song! -------He was King of Rock-A-Billy ! ----------------------WolfSky9
ОтветитьRIP
ОтветитьLove it. Super Fabulous
ОтветитьDK's just emailed me that the guitarist is Bob Neale, his pickin' improved for the 1985 vid...but still no match for James OR DK!
ОтветитьI don't personally like that lead guitar sound or style...but I'll ask my friend DK,if he knows who the picker is? Now,DK,you're not QUITE as good as James, but you're much better than the guy on THIS vid.!
ОтветитьNow and Forever, Mr. Eric Hilliard Nelson!
ОтветитьTHATS MY UNCLE ON DRUMS!!! I've been playin for over 10 years, but ill never be as solid as him. Im the beater in the family i guess... im so excited i found video of him playing with Rick! I can actually back up to all buddys now that hes better than their uncles at drummin. HA! extremely proud. i would give anything to go back in time and switch places with him. actually get payed to do what i love, while playing with one of the biggest act around. thnx for the upload!!!
Ответитьclassic BURNETTE BROTHERS song...and updated arrangement..
ОтветитьThis is outstanding. About the same time, I saw Rick at Knott's Berry Farm in So Cal. A nice venue and he kicked ass. If he were alive today at 73, I know he could still get it done!
ОтветитьSo high class and wonderful. He can rock with the best of them. Go Boy Go!!!!!!!!
ОтветитьI do believe that that is the most the Tonight Show ever rocked in the history of the show.
ОтветитьGlad you enjoyed!
ОтветитьThis song just gets better with age!
