JAM vs JAM • Pioneer PLX-CRSS12 Demo

http://www.instagram.com/JAM1PHOTO Proud of this project, I had a chance to demo the new Pioneer PLX-CRSS12 hybrid turntables and put them through the paces. I wanted to have some fun with this demo and put some video and editing chops on the block as well. I've been wanting to do a video where I'd run a routine with myself on camera for a while now and this posed a great opportunity to do so.

Filmed both runs of the routine separately featuring the two versions of myself, keeping the timing of the routine in mind, filmed 9 camera angles total, multicam editing and a composite shot to glue them all together. This would have been a huge headache to edit so many visual angles and audio takes if it weren't for @deitymicrophones timecode solutions.

A huge thanks to zZounds for the opportunity to demo the turntables and to Pioneer DJ / Alpha Theta for putting out a rock solid piece of tech. The response and feel of the DVS signal coming out of that is TIGHT, I don't feel any latency at all and the torque on the platter feels great especially for a heavy handed scratch nerd like myself.
