Peter Kreuder composed "Du gehst..." for the musical "Traummusik", an Italo-German co-production starring Marte Harell, Lizzi Waldmüller, Axel von Ambesser, Werner Hinz and Albrecht Schönhals. Benjamino Gigli played himself in this movie which dealt with the conflict between serious and pop music. Lizzi Waldmüller was prominently featured in some fine musical sequences and performed not only "Du gehst...." but also "Traummusik", "Liebling mach Musik" and "Señor und Señorita" (with Eric Helgar)....

This video features German crooner Horst Winter and his orchestra from the Carlton Club in Berlin. Horst Winter (1914 - 2001) not only played the clarinet but also was a vocalist for a number of orchestras, for example in Willy Berking's band... In 1941 he formed his own band and recorded for the Tempo label... Usually he combined one well known track with a lesser known jazzy title (often pushing the limit of what was acceptable in the eyes of the Reichsmusikkammer). He pushed the enveloppe to far when his version of "Sie will nicht Blumen und nicht Schokolade" was forbidden. In 1943 he was drafted into the army and became a prisoner of war in France. He settled in Vienna, where he founded the "Wiener Tanzorchester" in 1946. From 1950 onwards he conducted his "Horst Winter Tanzorchester". He went on numerous tours (even to the USA) and was the recipient of many awards. He remained active until a few months before his death.

The video features pictures of Lizzi Waldmüller and Marte Harell, the leading ladies of the movie as well as a movie programme and a sequence from "Traummusik".
