I think there’s a good chance they will release the new console well in advance of the Christmas season next year. For one, this would mitigate the scalping and make it bountiful and available early on before the Christmas shopping commences. Second, it’s been a good while coming and I believe it will satiate the appetite of those with hunger pangs. And I think it will help bring in the greater sales to exhibit in the next fiscal earnings report in 2026. I dunno… but let’s see.

​ Ok let's do the math here if they started massive production let say NOV 1st and they want to release it in April 2025 ( and rumors say about 7 million consoles available ) then they have to make 47 000 consoles every day for the next 150 days , now if they want to release it in Nov 1st 2025 they have to make 19 000 consoles every day for the next 365 days now 19k consoles every day is extremely big number unless they have a massive factory or many massive factories it will be really hard to achieve 7 mln consoles at the release date.

I just hope it has an internal SSD. Fancy graphics are nice, but the biggest upgrade last gen PS5/Xbox was SSD load/install times. The Switch just feels soo sluggish navigating the menus and eShop.
