I faintly remember seeing her picture as missing on the news, but never heard anymore about her or what happened. I'm curious why some things are very widely known about, yet others are not. Are these crimes now so common that humanity and civilization has really done become so widely desensitized to them that we can not even keep up with them anymore? It reminds me of something from the Bible in revelations about wars and rumors of wars. So many start to happen that it's impossible to know them all anymore or to keep up with them so people stop trying to keep up. And it's really sad because each story is just as important and impactful to those involved as the ones before it and those that follow. Hats off to those of you who get on these platforms and bring awareness to them. Otherwise many would never know the full scale of them. A lot of times we assume the person was found and is alive and well because their stories do not continue to get wide spread attention like others do. It's nobody's fault, it's just goes back to how common these crimes have infact become.
