How is it that this game manages to not look that dated? Maybe it's the fact that so many current games are on the 'freemium' model and designed to be run on anything from a phone to a console to a computer, and as a result forgo a lot of graphics advancements. But I can compare this against a number of modern games and it really doesn't look that out of place for a game that's 15 years old.

Did you use any mods that upgrade the AI on the NPCs? Every time I try to have a fun NPC going on like Combine Soldiers vs Zombies, the soldiers end up staying still, and when the zombies get closer, the soldiers start shoving until they die.
