That corrosion must have done some chemical reaction with the pcb that turned the pcb into a component rather than a trace. Great video and thanks for teaching me.

Batteries leak Base (alkali) acid will neutralise it, alcohol dilutes it. both reduce the impact.

The OpAmp +12V line was reading a negative voltage because only the -12V was connected to the OpAmp, that is why every other part connected to the Opamps +12v line(but disconnected from +12 near the Varta) was reading an negative voltage, connecting the +12 solves this issue.

C413 has an chip in it.
