This sim really needs some love on reflections, every wet surface should be reflective. This looks flat as hell and it's a pity, SSR and/or Raytracing on wet surfaces please.

DCS is great but they need to get the carrier moving in bad weather conditions. This is not realistic.

It's amazing how accurate this is. They got the high-power sound of the Hoover (Viking) just right. One minor inconsistency though. The tail was rarely folded - no need for it on the flight deck - and the wing spread seemed a little fast. Excusable things though considering how much work they put into this. (Viking SENSO, VS-29, USS Carl Vinson)

For me the simple camera shake makes it more realistic

I so badly wish they would come out with a working E-2 or E-3. I have a sim cockpit that won't translate to fighter very well. Would love to fly on the carrier.

The video brightness and low contrast is giving all the colors a washed out look.. such a shame. The thumbnail looks quite different. No shadows on anything in this game (?)

doesn't DCS animate the movement of flight control surfaces and wheels? it looks strange to see a jet just turn while its wheels remain straight.
edit- or maybe it is animated, the turn just looks odd for some reason because it happens so suddenly.

Can we choose the Carriers? Any Gerarld Ford option?

i have the game on ultra settings, with rain driplets on but the ground wont get wet like yours and the rain wont be on the cockpit

This brings back so many amazing memories!!! Working on a flight deck of a carrier as well as an amphibious assault ship is unlike anything else I’ve ever done. Except for maybe skydiving lol. I know it’s a cliché but it really is like a well-oiled machine, or a perfectly-prepared ballet.

The rain drops on the canopy are amazing.
The tires of the plane on the deck of the carrier need to be deformed. They're so perfectly round that it's off putting
