Why not heat that hose and then expand it so that the water pressure doesn't drop

Easier way to do this is use a pvc male adapter then use an hose to pipe adapter then connect the hose

You could also heat the pvc with a heat gun then thread it.

Easier to buy the fittings and last a lot longer
