Review of 2024 Jeep Sport S 4XE in the woods.

I drive a Tundra v8 but I've always humored the idea of owning a wrangular for the weekends.

That's awesome that the hybrid comes with the 3.73s. With the minivan engine and the stock 3.21 gears, I need to make an appointment for a couple weeks from now if I want to pass anybody. But they do look sweet with that MOPAR/Fox 2 inch lift and 35s.

I'm hit or miss on the jeep wave, too. Don't be surprised if you find a duck on your doorhandle someday . . .

Way too recalls for that particular model

I just returned from a trip to Utah and Colorado in my Jeep Wrangler, 2300 miles total including 3 days offroad in Utah. I make 4 or 5 offroad/camping trips a year. I don't have anything fancy on my Jeep but I did add Rubicon springs for 2" of lift and 33" Rubicon tires. I've been on some very technically difficult trails and had no problem. It's pretty amazing what the Jeep is capable of. It's hard to find another vehicle that is close, actually I think the next closest vehicle might be the previous version of Grand Cherokee.
My understanding is the Mopar lift provides 2" of lift on a Rubicon model so you will likely get 3" or more lift on the Sport model since the Rubicon is higher to start with. Changing my Jeep from stock springs to Rubicon springs I gained 1.75" lift.
I do a lot of long highway miles in my Jeep and don't have any problem with it, some people don't like the ride and the noise.
I have put almost 50k miles on my Jeep with no problems. On the internet there are feelings about reliability, I don't know how much of that is real. My father owned a repair shop for over 60 years and the brands that people say are reliable were in his shop as much or more than other models. Nevertheless the Jeep will do things that no other vehicle will do, and I can repair it myself if it comes to that, so it is the vehicle for me for now.

Glock 29??? It will be interesting to see how you like it compared to the XDM. I would think the 10mm XDM would be better, almost surely it will be more accurate.
