Awesome videography of the Outer Banks!Opening scene and I’m screaming at the TV. Get off the dune! Climbing dunes compromises their stability, and leads to beach erosion, but most visitors aren’t aware of that.
FYI, You mispronounced Corolla, Bodie, and Manteo It’s Co-RAH-la and just regular “body” for Bodie. Manteo is pronounced “man-E-O” by the people who live there. And it’s Jennette’s pier, not Janet’s. I’m just trying to help you sound like a local, haha! 😊
Great video! I love how many of the nature centered activities you showed! Sorry you didn’t get to see the Cape Hatteras lighthouse in all of her glory. The black and white spiral is iconic. They’re repainting her and replacing the lens. The lighthouse should be reopened for climbing in 2026, so make sure you get to do that!

Thank you for the video and information, every 2 years me and my family would always visit Avon, but this year be the first year without my dad he loved the outerbanks, so avon always hold a special place in our hearts.

Oh that was good! I would have included getting on the ferry there at Cape Hatteras and go on down to Ocracoke Island! It’s a little village with plenty of shops and restaurants!!

Every time I go to OBX I always go to kitty hawk to jet ski. I also will stay at the Oregon inlet camp if I’m heading to OBX by myself

Our only complaint, having a place in Duck, is there are practically no good places to eat in the OBX (see Yelp and Google reviews for reference) so we basically shop Publix and cook for ourselves the whole season.
