Ответить4th and 7th grade Texas history, c'mon man...
ОтветитьWHat I thought West Columbia was the first capital
ОтветитьOf course San Antonio de Bexar was capital of Spanish Texas.
San Felipe de Austin, capital of Austin's Colony, 1824 - 1836, served as the capital of Texas 1835 - 1836.
West Columbia was the capital of the Republic of Texas from September to December 1836. Then the capital was moved to Houston, then eventually to Austin.
.....and that's how the United States STOLE MEXICO.... you forgot to mention that part.
ОтветитьThere actually was a battle at San Felipe, not a big one by any means but my great-great (X2) grandfather (James Talbet Ross) along with Mosley Baker and others engaged the Mexican Army from the East Bank after burning the town. Museum is less than a mile from I10 near Sealy, well worth the stop. They have done a really good job.
ОтветитьLos adaes in 1700s was considered first capital of Spanish Texas before Texas revolution
ОтветитьMy ancestry sent me. I kinda remember something about this in school, but it's been over 20yrs. Thomas Boatright Rushing is my 6xs great grandfather and was one of Austin's "Old 300". We're still in San Antonio, lol. I've always loved Texas.
Ответитьthis is skibidi sigma
ОтветитьHave y'all ever heard about Texas's first capital?
