Wow David, you really have made such a name for yourself and are very influential now! From humble beginnings reviewing Toyota, to now flying the world to see the factories of very exclusive brands in Italy, and review some of the world's most exclusive cars! Very impressive! The Pagani was always my dream exotic! Especially the Huayra lol. f I could buy any exclusive exotic, it would be a Pagani Huayra, after a wonderful memory getting to see and touch my dream car in person, at a car show. I love the very high end aeronautical look inside the Huayra!

The steering wheel is like a bespoke pair of shoes. Incredible!

Except Pagani doesn't make their own engines.

The Utopia for example uses an AMG Mercedes power plant. They use transmissions from other companies, brakes from other companies, electronic systems from other companies, etc. So yeah they're assembling the final product and they do design exhaust and suspension, the carbon fiber tubs and frames etc (though everybody and their mom these days in 2024 can make carbon fiber tub super/hyper cars, they're all over the place). So until they start making their own engines, they just aren't on the same level as proven and developed companies like Ferrari, Porsche, Lamborghini, Mercedes, Aston Martin, etc etc.

The V12 twin turbo in the Utopia is an amazing engine. But Pagani did not build it nor did they design it.
