I really like the monster train videos, but I see your point on watchablility. I came into stream for the start of this run and was just like, "IDK what these guys do yet so I'll just wait for the video"
So like, its good video content but maybe less good stream content

I would LOVE a monster train tier list or something of the like :3 I know those are probably pretty high production value to make but this game just surpasses its predecessor in pretty much every way and I love the attention it's getting for that

I mean, I know the game a bit so I can’t really say that I’m the best example however the game I think at two or three speed should be slow enough from those people don’t understand what’s going on

Love watching it but its also new enough most people saw your 1st runs explaining it not sure if new people will understand by the time you hit level 10 but a twitch mod to allow you to hover like sts would be amazing and might help.

I've reeeeally been loving the monster train content. I really think after a while the confusion will fade quickly. I'd hate to see this game get pulled from the stream catalogue for the same reason as the first game

I’ve been loving the new monster train content even if I don’t understand what’s going on I’ve yet to not enjoy it. Especially when I’m able to pickup on the stuff myself while watching.

I would much prefer to watch your progress but I want it released at a faster pace! Slay the Spire videos these days have needed a pretty strong hook to get me to click on them, I'm kind of just waiting for 2 with you at this point. However being able to vicariously play Monster Train 2 through you when I can't afford it right now has been super fun and I want more.

As someone who never played monster train but watched you play i LOVE watching the monster train content because there's nothing more fun than watching you break the game with ridiculous combos.

I think the biggest issue might be not seeing the entire train so maybe when MT2 gets a community that can mod that people can explain how What thier run is doing better. If MT2 was able to be modded I think that would be the biggest part of trying to get things to change on the streaming end because it would make explaining the run a lot easier and only when your pyre got hit that the camera wouldn’t change force perspective. I know that modding shouldn’t be the option however for streaming purposes that should be the way to help people build a MT2 community easier.

MT2 is great to watch, sure the keywords can be slightly much in the beginning but after a while you get used to it, I haven't felt any major confusion because of the terms

Between Jorbs going for 180 Cov 10 runs and Frost dipping into the game for the first time, I'm drowning in MT2 content and I love it. Now if only we could get a peglin poglin type line for Monster Train...

As someone whose autism goes brrrrr when I see Monster Train and its sequel, I'd love to see a lot more of it. But I understand that streaming is the basis of your content and it can't go far if chat isn't on board.

Hi Frost, one thing I wanted to point out is that at the outpost is you click the top left and complete the first one dimensional portal challenge you get to unlock the mt1 OG clans bad that brings the clan combo count to 180 I believe, it's not that hard of a challenge and one of the major unlocks ib the game other than the Titans fight.

I would vote for monster train Monday but another Monday means another round of slay the streamer where your chat tries to beat you in slay the spire.

If you're playing monster train i think it helps to explain more seriously what is being done and why. Like youre not bad about it normally but with this being extra diligent about it makes it so much easier to view.

ill be honest, i am enjoying both playing and watching this game more the STS at the moment. cant pretend that it will stay that way but as of the moment short of a cool or fun mod on STS this game has its hooks in me

Hey Frost, wanted to pop in to say you were right about this game being awesome - I never got on the original monster train when you were playing because it got confusing a lot like you said, but watching you play this from scratch and figuring out the combos as you do has been super fun! Do some player made challenges, your community can give you challenges with silly names or stupid, fun, or ridiculously hard combinations able to be achieved and you can school them, or get punked and make it a contest.

With regards to streaming Monster Train, I wonder if having some kind of Twitch integration (like the kind that lets you mouse over relics in StS) would help make it clearer to watchers. Like letting viewers look at what cards are in your deck.

I understand it's more of a numbers thing, metrics and what not, but I rarely comment on things but I have to say that Monster Train 2 is so phenomenally good that I have to put my hat in the ring to say I would love to see more content of it going forward. Of course if the views just aren't sustainable it's fully understandable if you can't keep it as a mainstay, but I'd absolutely adore to see more of this wonderful game. (Esp with spoilers, you've probably seen it already but oh boy that adds like exponentially more replayability)

Monster Train 2 has been the thing that brought me back to your channel. I know it's not as popular as Slay the Spire, but I'd love to see it stay around. Thanks for uploading it as much as you have.

Monster train I think would be a good mainstay because to me it feels very similar to slay the spire. Many different builds can happen and there are a ton of mechanics to make anything into a build of sorts and it has tons of replayability and rewatchability. Granted this is coming from someone who watches your videos during bedtime so take my recommendation with a grain of salt

My 2 cents is that I think monster train is honestly quite easy to watch, even without fully understanding what it happening it is entertaining and it doesn't feel more confusing than StS did before I played it myself
